Have you ever eaten a certain food and thought, "Gee, I must have really needed whatever's in that" because it just hits the spot? Well that's just how I feel when I take this supplement. I drink bottled water (I use 16.9oz individual bottles) and find it super easy to add this Mag powder and my Vit C powder together in the same bottle, put the cap back on, shake it well and drink it down! Ahhhhh!! Don't have to deal with swallowing monster tabs either! Re the dissolving discussion, if the water is too cold right out of the fridge, yes it WILL clump and is hard to mix. I just let my water warm up a little first, shake it well and no problems! I have ordered this product multiple times and am very happy with results.

Taking two capsules of this pure magnesium glycinate before bed, has enabled me to get to sleep more quickly, sleep more soundly and get back to sleep more quickly if I have to get up during the night. The glycine and magnesium both help sleep. Magnesium glycinate is a form best absorbed, with the fewest side effects. I have had no side effects, and awakened more refreshed. This product has no magnesium oxide, which is poorly absorbed and much more likely to cause gastrointestinal side effects.Pure Encapsulations recently started making their products directly available to the public, not just through health care providers. I most highly recommend their magnesium glycinate.

I have been suffering from early morning head pains for four years.. i’ve tried several different prescription pills that had terrible side effects. Then a new doctor suggested taking magnesium. I’ve been taking 360 MG’s every night before going to bed. I have now gone almost a month with out any head pains at all. I don’t know what’s the medical explanation but am beyond thrilled with the results….and no side effects!!!
I ordered on Friday and it was at my door Sunday. It came in a big bubble mailer and the magnesium bottle was clean and well sealed. I am pleased. This is my first order from pure encapsulations. I'm placing much confidence in the reviews of their product and I will leave further reviews as I experience this magnesium for myself. I purchased it for help with severe night cramps and for sleeplessness. I’m hopeful Pure Encapsulations magnesium will help me. I bought this product because I had heard that this type of magnesium is best for absorbability by the body. It does a lot for the body. As a human, we don't get enough magnesium in our diets. I researched which form is best and magnesium glycinate is really absorbable by our bodies. The only downside to this is the capsules are big and you will find that with magnesium capsules. You have to be careful. I did choke on one because it got stuck sideways in my throat. It was scary to say the least. As a RN and doing my research, there are different forms of magnesium that do different things. So, this form is highly recommended by doctors because it serves a wide variety of things with our body. I do feel like it has helped me overall.
I have been using this product for about 3 weeks. It works so much better than the carbonated liquid version I use to get at the drug store. It moves smoother and more complete with equal amount as the carbonated liquid version. Although it does clump if you dump it into your cup at once, I find that if I pre-measure it into a small cup and stir my hot tea as I pour the dry powder, there is no clumping. I haven't tried this mixing method with cold liquid, yet, but I will soon.

My daughter does not swallow pills, and needed to take magnesium for migraines. I used to purchase another brand, that is no longer available, so I tried this. It dissolves well in cold liquids. But I've learned the trick to prevent clumping, is to stir constantly while adding the powder. Otherwise it is a good product that meets my needs. P.S. Please note size before ordering. I assumed it would be a much bigger tub than it actually is.( I must say, however,you only use a small amount (Scoop is included), and it lasts quite a while.)
