puredown Goose Feathers and Down White Pillows with 100% Cotton Cover Queen (Pack Of 2)

I ordered a set of these two months ago. They arrived in a zip bag, uncompressed. Shook them out, and they were very comfortable, although a little denser than I expected. I ordered a second set this week. Same price, same size and material, same fill weight, but they were vacuum packed and rolled into a smaller package. No big deal. Took them out, fluffed them up, very comfortable. Now I don't know if it's the vacuum packaging or just being a different batch, but the second set it noticeably flatter, seems less dense, and fit into a much smaller package. I don't feel cheated, the second set is what I wanted in the first place! Both sets are comfortable, but this second set is just slightly better as it is not as dense. Lots of support for head/neck, yet comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. I am no longer fluffing my pillows every few hours, and I only need to use one pillow now, not two. Haven't had any feathers come through either, which was a big dislike for them in the past.

Absolutely love the pillows. Our old ones were shredded by or bird dog ~ poodle pointer! We are so happy to sleep with our new pure down pillows! We Sleep absolutely wonderful again!Thank you

4 months in and I'm pretty happy. First and foremost, they're comfortable and supportive without being too firm or too soft for my liking. If there was an odor at first, it cleared a long time ago and I've forgotten. I do need to fluff them each night but that's normal for down. I'm not seeing it in the product description anymore but my memory from when I bought them is they mentioned Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certification, which aims to protect the animals from unnecessary harm. There is an Amazon listing by the same brand name, which does mention RDS certification, although the pillows in the picture look slightly different, so take that with a grain of salt. Anyways, if my memory is correct and they've just changed their listing description, these were ... More4 months in and I'm pretty happy. I would not make my dog sleep on these pillows.

These are the worst pillows that I've ever purchased. The company name "Pure down" is extremely deceptive, because these pillows are anything but. Be aware that they are 95% feathers and only 5% down. They are not even remotely comfortable, full of feather quills, and just go flat immediately. I don't know if there are people out there that find feather quills and filler to be comfortable, but I do not. If you're looking for an actual down pillow, you will be sorely disappointed. If an actual down pillow is out of your price range, the "down alternative" pillows are actually worlds better than these things.

Like I'm sleeping on my mattress

I read most of the reviews on these pillows and there were hardly any bad comments about them, so I figured why not. I got the pillows fast and on time, but they came in a tiny box because they were vacuum packed, I thought no big deal I'll just fluff them up. Took them out, fluffed them up, and "tried" to sleep on them that night. They were so flat it felt like I was just laying on my mattress with no pillow at all. I kept waking up tossing and turning, all to wake up the next morning with my neck hurting pretty bad. The quality of the pillow looks to be good, just way, way, way, too soft I guess for me. My old pillows are goose down and I still use them to this day (since the new pillows did not work out). I did however use the new pillows as replacement pillows ... MoreI read most of the reviews on these pillows and there were hardly any bad comments about them, so I figured why not. I did however use the new pillows as replacement pillows for my shams, because $42 is a lot to spend on something to not use it. Just use caution when buying. If you like an extremely super soft pillow you might like these, or to save you a few bucks, try sleeping on just your mattress first. But if you need just the slightest amount of support, I'd recommend buying elsewhere.

Not for petite people

I’m 5’5” and 120ish pounds. My husband is 5’6” and 175ish. I mention that because these pillows didn’t flex much. If you’re a taller human or have broader shoulders, these pillows would be AMAZING!!!!! But we are not large humans so I returned them. LoL They we’re great material and no feathers came through.

Perfect Squishy Down Pillows

These are the perfect down pillows for people (like myself) who love a squishy pillow. The quality is excellent, they feel luxurious, sturdy, and both came with equal amounts of fill- which apparently doesn’t always happen from what I gathered from other pillow reviews. I sleep on my stomach and sometimes on my side, and I like to put my arms under the pillow, these are perfect for that. Also the feathers don’t “poke” you, as that also seemed to be a common complaint in reviews of other pillows. Definitely considering buying a second set, well worth the money!

Thumbs UP for the PERFECT soft DOWN pillow!

I have purchased enough pillows in my life to know that when ordering on line, looking for a "SOFT" pillow is not an easy task. A lot of times they are lumpy soft. A lot of times they are not as soft as they say they are. My Pillow that I tried was not for me either. These Puredown White Goode Feather and Down Pillow, Standard Size, Set of Two are the PERFECT PILLOWS for a side sleeper. Your neck will feel wonderful in the morning as you will have had the BEST NIGHTS SLEEP. I also want to mention they are not TOO SOFT, they are just right. It is like they custom made them for me. Talk about VALUE! Wow. Pillows are so important that cost is really not an issue up to a certaim amount of money. There are NO FEATHERS that you can feel...that has happened to me before a few times. I am so happy with this purchase! A+++. I suggested these to my sister and my aunt. I am going to get a couple more very soon. Thanks for finding a way to fill the needs of many at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE!
