I really love Pureology products and have been using this brand for years. The Hydrate Sheer line I have no tried so was super excited to receive from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. The texture is wavy and a bit rough as I’ve been coloring my hair for years (blonde). The Hydrate Sheer from Pureology is good for color treated hair which is what I look for in hair care. A little goes a long way with a Pureology as their products are very concentrated. The conditioner is really a nice texture. Thin enough to evenly apply yet thick enough that it feels quality. I leave the conditioner in for 5 minutes before rinsing. My hair stylist recommended this line for my color treated fine hair. The smell was really nice, minty/herbally. The conditioner is more light-weight the. Traditional conditioners. My hair felt soft and hydrated, even after using heat. I did not finish all 33oz and wound up giving some to friends and family, since honestly, how much conditioner can one person use. I would purchase this again in a smaller bottle.

Because I was aware of the claims that it contains menthol and burns some people's scalp, I tried my best to follow others' advice and put it mostly on the ends of my hair rather than rubbing it into the scalp. It definitely has a strong mint smell and I still felt a prominent cooling sensation after a few moments even though I avoided putting it on my scalp. The strong menthol combined with hot shower steam stung my eyes a bit so I can't even imagine what it would be like accidentally getting this in your eyes.
