I received this Pureology Strength Cure Superfood Treatment Mask complimentary from Influenster. My poor hair has had some awful breakage around the crown lately that has honestly left me looking a little raggedy. So I was quite excited to use this product and see if it would make any difference. I applied a quarter-sized dollop to my hand before smoothing this thick cream onto my shampooed hair and I couldn’t help but instantly enjoy the fruity fresh scent. This mask has ingredients such as olive oil and sunflower seed, but the fragrance is definitely that of sweet goji berries! After applying from root to tip and massaging it in, I left the mask on for 5 minutes. This made me especially nervous, seeing as how most other hair masks simply encourage you to apply from mid-length to the ends... I worried about coming out of the shower with weighed down roots, but I took a leap of faith and just listened to the instructions anyway. After rinsing, I decided to let my hair dry with absolutely no other products in it. After all, what better way to really see what this mask can do on its own? Well, I was quite impressed to say the least... I had soft, detangled, shiny hair that looked SO much healthier! I’ve used this several more times since (once a week every week as the tube suggests) and each time has had the same beautiful results. My breakage was less noticeable and my hair had less overall frizz. I’m happy Pureology didn’t let me down! That being said,... Did this magically fix ALL of the breakage and frizz I have? No, but to be fair, it doesn’t claim to... Overall, this product delivered tangible visible results and I would gladly recommend it for anyone looking to give their hair some pampering!

Amazing quality, not much product

I absolutely LOVE this mask. I have been searching for a good one since I have been struggling with hair loss. I looked through so many products and read tons of reviews, and then I came across this. It was the only product with this amount of genuinely good ratings with very little cons. I'm super happy with it. It is gentle enough to not aggravate my symptoms but works very well to give my hair a lot of moisture and shine. I have vibrant pink color in my hair and it hasn't stripped it, which is great. I have very long hair though, which is the only con. There isn't a ton of product in the bottle, so I go through it rather quickly. Regardless, I will definitely keep purchasing.

It’s clean, fresh, & floral with Mandarin, Peony, & Jasmin notes. It’s got a shampoo-ey vibe but not sickly sweet or syrupy—it’s just a sweet freshness that smells lovely. I also love that it’s a quick masque: 5 minutes on wet hair while I exfoliate the rest of my body & then you can rinse it out. It’s been so easy to incorporate into my routine, that I use it regularly. I can actually feel the knots come out while I am applying it. Out of all of the hair masques I’ve tried (A LOT!) I feel like this one is the best suited to my hair needs and has visually helped strengthen and soften my very damaged hair. I have used hair color for half of my life so the damage is cumulative. This masque has helped ease much of that damage and protects it for the future. My hair just looks healthier and that’s enough proof for me. The only downside I can see is the price is a little high but I feel it is justified based on how well it works and it’s a decent size tube that lasts longer than you would expect it to especially if you use a comb to work it through instead of your hands. You only need a half dollar size amount in that case. Overall it’s a great product especially for those with damaged or color treated hair, but it would work for anyone who wants softer, stronger, smoother and more shine.

I LOVE this product! In the past few years I have been trying to reach a platinum/gray/silver hair color. I have black Asian hair, so as you can imagine, it has taken A LOT of coloring/bleaching/toning. Even though my stylist does a great job at trying to keep the integrity of my hair, there is naturally some damage and split ends that has occurred. I have tried Olaplex which works well but at how little you get for the price, it’s hard to convince myself to use it exclusively. I was desperate looking for a product that will save my hair. I just had my hair done it was bleached because i wanted a balayage. My hair was pretty damaged super dry, frizzy and i also suffer dandruff. So i bought this hoping it will work and I love it! note i am also using olaplex but did not make me feel anything. This really made my hair nourished. my hair was so soft and smooth! I love it! Pureology Hair mask

I recieved this product as a complimentary purpose through Influenster for review purposes. I used the hair mask a few times since I first received it. I liked the convenience of the squeeze type bottle, I've used other mask in the past and having to put your fingers in the container for some can be a hassle while in the shower. My hair is quite long (waist length) and it tends to get dried and frizzy, after being colored treated a few times, but not after this mask. Everytime I used it my hair would be smooth, shiny and quite manageable. Since dealing with postpartum hair lost in the last few months I feel this mask also helped a bit with that as I noticed my hair not looking or feeling so damaged. I am about 1/2 way through the bottle, and it really only takes about a nickel size amount for me since my hair is shoulder length.( I am not a shoulder length person I have always had and wanted long hair!!!) I have for the past two years been suffering GREAT !!! amounts of stress, so my hair STOPPED growing and started just breaking off. so then in addition to no length it was getting THINNER everyday. So I started using this product in tandem with the Pureology strength shampoo and the breakage has all but stopped. No growing yet but I remain hopeful. My split ends look better not so frizzy. Overall for a long time I am saying less "I hate my hair". Best of all my husband said out of the blue, "Your hair is looking thicker" that blew my mind! Richest, most moisturizing mask out there

I have tried every mask there is sans protein (protein masks can make extensions crunchy, and I have NBR extensions) and this is by far the most moisturizing, richest mask out there. Truly amazing. I've tried the Amika one, nearly all of the Oribe ones (including Gold Lust which is a close second to this), and this one is my favorite. I have extremely dry, severely damaged, tangly natural hair (I went from black to ash blonde hair and then dyed it brown to try to save it) which needs a lot of love and moisture, and since my extensions are not receiving the oils from my scalp like my natural hair is, I need to use really hydrating products on them, too, so products like this work super well for me.

I love this mask by Pureology Strength Cure Superfood pricey but Worth it. It does exactly what is says it will do, strengthens and moisturizes without weighing down my fine aging processed hair. I know of no other mask that works this well. It smells good nothing heavy of a fragrance but a natural freshness. It leaves my hair shiny and manageable. I have been out for a month, trying to use up my mask collection. I'm throwing out the ones that do nothing but taking up space, clearing the clutter and this product will be now my only mask. I wasted money buying other masks to save money, totally wasted my money and time for less satisfactory or if any results. Works even on bleached hair to prevent breakage

I first used it on a Sunday night, and I didn’t use it again for a week in order to see how long the results lasted and whether it made my hair feel greasy. Because the results were so good after that first use, a week later I started using it 3x a week, and my hair (especially the ends) feel stronger and softer, and it doesn’t seem to have disrupted my hair at all 3 weeks into using it (so it’s not like my scalp is suddenly greasy). So far I have used this treatment basically as a hair mask/conditioner replacement. I shampoo, rinse, and then apply this treatment and let it sit in my hair while I finish my shower routine, which is usually 5-10 minutes. Then I rinse it out. The first time I used it, I did not apply any of my after shower leave-in products so I could judge how the Pureology effected my hair. I have purple ombré into pink hair, and so my hair is bleached and inherently damaged, which is why I apply a spray conditioner, a mousse, a leave-in conditioner, and oil on the ends after I shower. But I skipped those after the first use just as an experiment, and my hair was still manageable and shockingly soft. And my hair air dried faster than normal (probably because there were no extra products occluding the moisture). Even air dried, my hair had more volume without being poofy and easily tangled, and my hair was soft. My hair is always noticeably softer when I apply my after shower leave in products, but this stuff made my hair noticeably softer without using those. But the smoothness of my hair is still not at the level I prefer, which is why I use those products and blow dry my hair after. But I have experienced my hair getting stronger—I don’t nearly have the same amount of breakage I did before I started using this. And I used two hair mask treatments: a drugstore brand, and a mid-tier one. This Pureology blows them out of the water with the results. This will be worth the money and I will repurchase.
