Pyrex Classic Mixing Bowl 3L

All my plastic mixing bowls were looking very tatty, and my Pyrex bowls were very small. I bought a couple of larger glass bowls from a well known supermarket but they were very heavy and not ovenproof, and also too wide and shallow. They were returned and I bought this instead. A perfect size, thick enough but not too thick. not too heavy, and a perfect shape. A 10 year guarantee too, so Im megahappy. I hope Pyrex keeps on doing what they are doing forever.

I have had one 3l Pyrex mixing bowl for about 12 years now and its the one that I always prefer using. Others that I have are stainless steel, and I use them if I need to. At the weekend I needed to use more and got fed up, so had a look and found this set of six.The bowls are excellent with a 100 year anniversary logo in the glass bottom etched in. I love the pouring spouts built in at each end that make it so much easier to pour things out. Theyre nicely weighted too, so they dont move about when you need to mix ingredients.Overall very pleased with this buy and look forward to using these for many years.

Its a round transparent thing that says pyrex on the bottom. Seems to be a genuine Pyrex 2L bowl YippeeIt seems a little lighter and thinner than my old one which in fairness was 30 years old before I dropped it and I was slightly surprised to find remnants of the mouldinjection point where molten glass in injected into the casting mould as a small round rough area on its INSIDEbase possible hygiene issue but nothing to suggest this is a second or anything other than what it says it is. May it last as long as the old one did By which time I probably wont care anyway.

Ordered direct from manufacturer because the larger bowl not available at retailer. The product was exactly as I would expect from Pyrex, robust crystal clear glass that will last a lifetime. The 3L size has plenty of room for mixing ingredients, easy to clean.

BRAND NAME LOCATION NOT PRACTICAL

I have old pyrex mixing bowls which have the brand name on the bottom OUTSIDE of the bowl. These new ones have the name etched INSIDE the bowl which seems totally impractical as when mixing the spoon constantly hits the raised brand name.

Bowl nice but expensive

Nice bowl but I found it to be expensive as after I bought it £10. 3L. I saw it in tescos for £6.50 proper price NOT on offer. Exactly the same pyrex bowl. Very disappointed.

Pyrex Bowl 3Ltr

It is a big bowl, it holds lots of liquids, semiliquids and hard stuff all very well. The bowl is see through. I used it in the microwave quite often to make frozen mashed potatoes yes, I know, I know, I am lazy and I should mash the potatoes myself but for the purpose of this review, I can assure it does a good job in the microwave with the mashed potatoes. I like this bowl, I have named my bowl Paula. Paula says hi, and hopes you also get a bowl for yourself. Treat yo self to a pyrex Paula

Pyrex Bowl 3Ltr

I had bought one of these two years back, and, like all pyrex bowls Ive ever owned, it has been and still is great. I purchased this to have a second one as it such a useful size for mixing etc...It smashed into pieces and I mean shattered so loudly it made me jump with a small knock on the sink. Never can I remember a Pyrex bowl being such poor quality and, funnily, Id had a thought that the appearance of the glass, the shape and the feel were all different to my existing one when it arrived. Seems I was right.

Pyrex Bowl 3Ltr

This was brought to replace an older Pyrex bowl that fell out of the cupboard and shattered. Not only is this an official Pyrex product, but it is also much later than our previous one, but cost less than the older one so overall, Im very pleased. Theres not to much more to say really. After all ,it is only a glass bowl however it a strong, good sized bowl that, so far, has served a multitude of uses....and its dishwasher safe too Heres hoping it lasts s long as our previous Pyrex bowl....

Pyrex is an extremely well established Company of many, many years. Excellent products. Qualiity is top notch. I have never heard of them receiving complaints on their fantastic Glassware. A great selection of items in all shapes and sizes for use in your kitchen.
