I love how gentle and effective this is. The product is very hydrating and has a slippery, quite viscous consistency. I apply multiple layers using my hands and it doesn't slip from my palms as more traditional watery toners do, so there is no product waste. I apply multiple layers and I don't feel bad as this product is inexpensive. I think everyone will enjoy this toner regardless of their skin type or season. This product is effective, it is inexpensive and cruelty free. On the Stylevana website it retails for around £10. And it just gets cheaper if you add a discount code to your cart. Which in my opinion is a steal. I have to be careful when applying this toner as if I accidentally get it into my eyes, my eyeballs will start burning and get irritated.

I got this toner because of the hype and many reviews saying that it’s very hydrating from social media, and the anti-aging properties this toner had. But, oh goodness me I was wrong. I used this toner for like a month and my skin barrier was ruined. My skin felt hot and started to have breakouts on my forehead and the apples of my cheeks paired with redness. I never experienced anything like it and I immediately stopped using it after my skin became inflamed this one day. The small ingredient list looks promising but if you have sensitive skin this toner may not do the trick. I was happy to find a viscous toner since I was looking for something like it. But, I didn’t have a good experience with this.

I am sampling through many toners and essences to find my holy grail. I like the watery grape jelly consistency of this toner essence. It layers well with Skin 1004 Centella Asiatica and Cosrx Snail Mucin...my issues come when i try to implement it with actives like Vit C, Retinol...or even under sunscreen and foundation. I have noticed a lot of piling and it forms an occlusive barrier, despite absorbing so quickly, so that other products just sit on top of the skin and don't absorb. I still consider Glow Recipe as HG despite stickiness. To me, the PKY is just ok, it does make my skin look great in combo w others but its just so hard to layer so I may move on to other insanely amazing Korean skincare toners instead.

I was looking for a tonic option with a moisturizing effect and without a sticky feeling - this is it! I like this whole series from the brand for basic skin care. The quality of the tonic is also very good and the price is quite reasonable. I just pour a little into my hand and apply it on my face with patting movements without using cotton pads - perhaps this is the best application method. Moisturising and softening the skin is wonderful, the texture of the tonic is liquid, as it should be with similar Korean products. I use it every day in the morning and evening after face washing, I really like the effect.

Though it deeply hydrates, I felt like on its own it's not moisturizing enough for my dry skin. This can be easily combined with other moisturizing skincare products. It's fragrance-free, color-free and doesn't irritate skin, so it's perfect for sensitive skin. The boost of hydration works wonderfully for dry and dehydrated skin! Beautiful toner. It is not an essence per se, but a toner. So, the idea is to apply it on a cotton ball, wipe the face after washing it. Then apply an essence and then the moisturizer. At first I made a mistake thinking it was an essence and felt that it dried my skin. Then read the instructions and understood it was my mistake. It contains Astragalus extract which has antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties. So it keeps the breakouts away. Great quality product.

This product is perfect for oily, red and sensitive skin. It did not irritate my skin at all and provided the much-needed hydration and nourishment. I'm blown away by how effective this product has been in such a short amount of time. I have problems with dehydrated skin, and even the most hydrating cream rarely fix my patches of sensitive, flaky, red, irritated skin. I was told to try the 7-skins method with a korean toner and this was the first one I tried. I use 3 drops and pat it into my face. I apply it 3 times (aka layers), waiting for each layer to dry to a tacky consistency before applying the next. I've been doing this frequency morning and night for 2 weeks. I destroyed my moisture barrier back in late fall of 2021 and while doing some research on this Korean skincare brand, it was nice to discover that this skincare line specifically helps maintaining one’s moisture barrier.
