Q Acoustics Concept 30 is a high end speaker that sits beneath the concept 50 and 90 within the concept series. The concept 30 takes design cues from Q Acoustics flagship Concept 300 while also introducing new audio features that allows it to deliver high-end music quality in your home. Holographic SoundStage These speakers are unaffected by resonance and are designed to deliver focused stereo imaging while also delivering accurate audio and an extended holographic soundstage. These features make Q Acoustics Concept 30’s cabinet as quiet as possible and emulates a live performance as accurately as possible. Optimised Acoustic Seal The Concept 30 uses a 5-inch mid/bass and 0.9-inch tweeter driver which both have been redesigned from the ground up specifically for the new Concept series. To create the optimum acoustic seal, the drive units are fixed to a sturdy 3mm aluminium baffle plate before it is fitted to the cabinet which dampens vibrations and minimises structural coupling. Lower Crossover Point Additionally, the Concept 30’s tweeter has been engineered to be ‘floating’ from the baffle while also being sealed air tight. This allows for lower distortion and a lower crossover point for a more seamless crossover region. The crossover is secured to an isolation base, keeping it free from sound-effecting vibrations and far from the electro-magnetic influence of the drivers themselves. The larger mid/bass driver voice coil is at 30.5mm which improves power handling compared to an average size (25.4mm) voice coil. Boasting the signature aluminum front baffle plate, sophisticated design lines and stunning, premium high gloss finish. The Concept 30 is iconic and arrives in three lacquers, black, white and silver.
