Quad Lock Mag Case Pixel 9 Pro

Absolutely love quad lock I got the universal adapter for my old phone because quad lock don't do a case for it and that was brilliant. But just got a new phone and quad lock do a case for my new phone so I brought it. It's very well built and the quad lock is amazing and attaches easy to my quad lock mount. No issues at all, I brought the poncho to. I know it's not waterproof and only weather resistant. It's on in light rain but anything more and it lets water into the case and gets to the phone. Would be great if quad lock do a waterproof version of the poncho. Overall quad lock is the best phone mount out there

This case is actually very good. I have dropped my phone on hard surfaces several times (including concrete), and my phone was undamaged every time. This case allows me to mount my phone to my motorcycle SO securely! When it's snapped into place, that thing is going nowhere. I also LOVE the fact that I can put a little pop-out ring accessory that slots into the back of the case. It makes using my phone one handed so much easier. I HIGHLY recommend the quad lock system.

Good enough

So I have used quad lock products for a few years now and have always loved them. From the car mount kits to cases to just the universals and wall mounts. Love the simplicity. However this newest case I got for my pixel 8 pro is a lot slower feeling in my hands than my older ones. Which makes the phone itself slippery. The mounting is all the same although it is a little tougher so it takes more effort and time for me to click it in. But it does seem a stronger fit. Still a big fan of the brand. I am not a fan that the older things won't transfer over to the newer car mounts though. I will still recommend and use quad lock as they have been great in service and designs. 👍

Good product marred by price

Case itself is good. Good coverage, good protection, good buttons. Magnetic ring is so far not very useful for me at this time but nice to have. A great product that is brought down a few stars by its exorbitant price. If it was half the price or less I'd give it a 5. But every time you switch cellphones you have to spend 50+ dollars to buy the case to continue using your existing mounts is ridiculous.

Good quality but...

Makes the phone feel massive. I had a quad lock case on my S9 that had a much slimmer profile. Yes the quad lock part stuck out but that also gave you something to rest the phones weight on at the back. This drastically changes the thickness of my pixel 8. I do like that you have some customisable colour options but at £8 a pop seems like a bit of a money grab on a system that is already very costly. Word has got out and there are so many alternatives to quad lock now (I chose for motorcycle mount) that I'm not sure the grip on the market will remain at these prices.

Great connection. HUGE case.

Previously I had a quad lock mount that attached to my old phone case with an adhesive. When I needed a new case for my Pixel 8 I went to quad lock as I was already locked into the platform. The case for the Pixel 8 essentially doubles the thickness of the phone. Other than that it is a good case. Phone is definitely well protected, but seems kind of overboard. Would much rather have a thin case and have the mounting mechanism protrude slightly than the mounting mechanism hidden within the flush surface of back of case. That extra depth adds so much bulk and weight to my phone.

I love the case! It feels so strong and sturdy and it fits the phone perfectly. I used a universal adaptor on my previous phone and I always felt a bit anxious about the possibility of it coming off and sending my phone flying while riding my motorbike (although it was a baseless fear I know). The ad-hoc case instead feels completely secure; I stress tested it on a +700km ride and it held like a champ.I initially intended to use the case only when riding, but I like it so much I haven't taken it off since I got it. I already dropped the phone on the floor and the case merely got a scratch.I wish you built cases for every phone brand! My previous phone was a Xiaomi and I absolutely loved it (shame it was stolen). It's a real pity you don't have any Xiaomi cases!

Not as good as previous cases

I've had at least three cases from quadlock now. This one is super tight to attach to my accessories and doesn't fit all of them. The best I can do is almost get the Quadlock ring stand to fit by putting some force behind it which shouldn't be the case. I composed an email to quadlock with photos but was asked to send video's in too which isn't really possible when trying to use both hands to attach a case that does not work to an attachment. Probably my last time purchasing from the brand due to this case not working with my attachments.

Solid Chunky Case

The case itself is well made and if you need a quad lock case, it's the one you get.I had the Pixel 6 Pro case and had no issues with it. However, the Pixel 9 Pro case is quite a bit chunkier. It doesn't narrow down in places it could and instead makes the whole back flat (about level with the camera bump). Personally, I don't like this but my brother does (with his Pixel 9 Pro XL).I don't know if it's from the extra thickness or the magnets in it, but my Pixel 9 Pro doesn't charge on the Pixel Stand 2 with this case on. The Pixel 6 Pro worked so just know it may be an issue depending on your phone/charger combo.I'll be switching to the Google made case and swapping them when I need the mount on my motorcycle.

The best case I have ever owned.

I paired the Pixel 7 pro Qualock case with RAM mount options for my truck and golf push kart and it works flawlessly -- very stable and safe.I found the following issues:Firstly, it takes some practice to get used to engaging the case on the mount. After 2 weeks, it's natural and quick and not an issue anymore.Secondly, the texture of the case is smooth and I find it a little slippery, plus the Quadlock hole in the back is quite large. The solution for me was to buy the magnetic ring; it fills that hole, looks good and is easily swapped when going to the RAM mount.Overall, an excellent case and system but a bit pricey.
