I ride about 400-500 miles a week and use my cell phone to track my progress, listen to music, and use it for calls. Most phone holders I’ve seen are a joke. They’re flimsy and are poor quality. Not so with Quad Lock! Once it’s mounted on the handlebars, it’s there to stay. It doesn’t move and the phone can be set to portrait or panoramic mode. I bought the out front mount for my second bike since I already have Quad Lock on the other one. I have zero complaints. My phone is easy to put on and take off. Previously, I had a Rokform system, but I found the mount to eventually become loose because of the way it’s mounted on the bike (on the stem). No amount of tightening could prevent that from happening. That issue is solved with the Quad Lock mount and case. I know the price might be considered a bit high compared with all the cheap mounts available. I don’t look at it that way. My iPhone cost me well over $1000. I’m not going to sweat paying a bit more for something that will keep it secure. Great job, Quad Lock!

I bought Out Front Mount for two of my bikes, one gravel, and the other city e-bike. When mounting the first Quadlock on a gravel bike I broke the clamp. I used a quality torque wrench (I maintain and upgrade my bikes, so I am not "dumb" to fix or mount stuff on the bike) set to only 2Nm, yet I managed to break the clamp. When I tightened it lightly, it was moving and it did not give enough resistance to mount the phone on the Quadlock with one hand (no, DO NOT TRUST THAT NICE PROMO VIDEO from Quadlock). When I tried to tighten it a bit more (my "measure" was just to be able to mount the phone with one hand without moving the Quadlock mount on the bar). So, on the first attempt on the gravel bike, I ended up with a broken Quadlock glued together that can only be ... MoreI bought Out Front Mount for two of my bikes, one gravel, and the other city e-bike. So, on the first attempt on the gravel bike, I ended up with a broken Quadlock glued together that can only be used by mounting a phone on it with two hands. The second attempt was the city e-bike. I even bought the handlebar extension, so it could be a "clean" mount with nothing in the way of Quadlock. To cut the story short. It is not yet mounted. Whenever I tighten it (tried with two different torque wrenches, to make sure it is not faulty) to a specified measure Quadlock holds on the bar but the moment you try to mount it with one hand it starts moving. When you ride even a lightly bumpy road it can not hold the phone straight. I am afraid to tighten it more, not to end up like with the first one. Conclusion - this product is all about nice marketing, but far from delivering what they show in their marketing videos.P.S. - I used a similar product from the biggest competitor on my previous bike before I decided to try Quadlock. Never had any of the above issues.

Easy to mount, secure, durable, plus it looks pro. What’s not to like?Quad lock (plus Strava or the Wahoo app) let me use my smartphone as a cyclocomputer and avoid spending $200-$400 on another piece of tech that will be outdated in 18 months.I’ve used the quadlock for a full year of riding with no issues. This review was actually prompted when I purchased a second mount for my gravel bike. Plus now that I’ve got the quadlock case for my phone I’ve added a quad lock mount to my car dash so I can use the gps for navigation while driving.

I was using other styles of mounts that used “rubber bands” to hold my phone. They worked well most of the time! However, After losing my phone one time, I decided to seek out a better method to secure my phone. (I was able to locate the phone on the trail and fortunately it was damaged)I think I found it! I have been using this for a couple of weeks and am enjoying it. I purchased two mounting brackets for my bike and scooter. I really like the convenience and how easy it is to attach the phone securely to each of them.Unless I’m mistaken, I wish the QuadLock case had a protective lens over my iPhones camera lens. I purchased the universal mount to attach to my existing case that has the camera lens protection and is waterproof.
I at first was disappointed about this when an initial use came loose on a bicycle ride. I had wondered about whether an out front mount could withstand downward pressure of twist and mounting a phone. After several uses on my gravel bicycle I am happy to have been wrong about this device. It is functional and sturdy--you must instal securely initially. One must also plan ahead if mounting a camera or computer--it may take a couple tries to get your cockpit fully functional! It is an excellent product.
The BEST phone mounts ... EVER! Rock solid in the roughest conditions. I've used several other mounts in the past, but I've always had to adjust them to get them back to original position. I've never had to adjust my Quad Lock mounts. I set them, and they stay in place. I have the Windshield mount in my car, and the out-front mount on my road bike. I've just purchased another mount for my e-bike so I'll always be secure ... wherever I go.
The quad lock mounts are solid! I had one quad lock on my manual bike and another brand mount on my electric bike. While riding the electric bike, I hit a bump and my phone, still in the mount, broke off from the bike and flew hitting the pavement pretty hard face down. Luckily my phone was in a quad lock case because my phone was protected. The case is a little scratched but otherwise it saved the phone!Your products are durable and well worth the purchase. I have zero concern of this happening with my phone while locked in to the quad lock case.
This is a great phone case and fast easy secure way to fasten it to your bike. It took me about 30 seconds to see how it works. Then it takes perhaps a few seconds each time the first few times to get used to it. Then almost instant after a few times. I like how I don't have to be concerned about my phone falling off/out even if I hit a really hard bump. Great product, I will only ever use this and recommend it to others from now on.
I use my iPhone 12 Pro Max on my trail rides using Trail Forks app for navigation and Strava. The Quadlock out front mount holds my phone with up most confidence. I’ve put this mount in the ringer on multiple jarring rides. I’ve ridden fast, long and rocky descents and yet the Quadlock mount keeps my phone in place and my phone is big! I even take jumps and drops and it’s still there. I primarily use it on my mountain bike. In a recent ride, I crashed and the mount broke off. Fortunately, the Quadlock mount can be installed facing rearward (towards the saddle). By doing this, my phone is less vulnerable for head on hits because it sits just a little behind the handlebar. Did I mention their customer service is amazing? My mount was out of the warranty period but they kindly gave me a 20% discount towards a new one. Cheers to Quadlock, their products and customer service!
I had bought multiple phone holders for my bikes and all have been decent enough but usually move around no matter how tight I make them but Quad Lock Out Front Mount by far has exceeded my expectation. Not only does it stay in place on my bike, but the versatility the case has with the other options is incredible. I have the belt clip, run kit, phone ring stand and stroller kit and all work great. I never have to change the case and just change out the accessory I need and I am set. No other case I bought gave this much versatility. Should I switch phones, I just need to by a new phone case and all the accessories will follow to the new phone which is great having to buy everything from scratch again. I highly recommend this case for anyone looking for versatility ... MoreI had bought multiple phone holders for my bikes and all have been decent enough but usually move around no matter how tight I make them but Quad Lock Out Front Mount by far has exceeded my expectation.
