The play value is wonderful

I carried the Quercetti Marble Run in the education toy store that I owned for 18 years from from 1980 to 1998. I have one in my playroom that I purchase from my old store in the 1980, and my grand children enjoy it so much, that i decided to buy one for their home too. The quality of the marble run now a days is a much cheaper product, thus not as sturdy of a product. The play value it there though, so I would recommend it. I just wish Quercetti would continue to make it with a stronger plastic like they had in the past. It says from 8+ years of age and that is true for building the runs, however if your children will not put the marbles in their mouth which my grandchildren who are 3-1/2 and 5 will not, they will play with it for hours and love it. That means an adult will have to put it together when they are young, but buy 8 they will be able to create different marble runs with it and use their creativity. Great PLAY VALUE!!!

Thin, cheap, plastic that doesn't connect well

There was the need to make the tower pieces fit together (with adult level force). There was the constant threat of breaking one of the pieces if too much pressure was applied. At the conclusion of assisting our child in building one of the towers per the aforementioned horrible instructions, the finished product unnaturally leaned and didn't look solid or durable contrary to the images in the advertisements.Highly recommend buying a different marble run product. We are greatly disappointed in what was advertised vs. what we got out of the box.
