I granted the Quest Cookie Dough flavor at a gas station where it was the only flavor they had and I needed a protein bar. The flavor was not great; not terrible, but it didn’t make me think of cookie dough. A little bland. It did have chocolate chip pieces in it, but those were a little flavorless too. The texture was the typical Quest squishy, chewy texture. It did its job of filling me up when I needed a protein meal, but I wouldn’t get this flavor again.

I'm obsessed with this protein bar. Because I found the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor so disappointing, I was hesitant to try additional flavors. I decided to pick this up on a whim and am so glad I did! This white chocolate raspberry bar is a super generous size at 2.12 ounces. It contains large chunks of white chocolate and real pureed raspberries. It's the perfect combination of creamy and tart, and this bomb flavor combo does a decent job of masking the protein flavor. This bar truly feels like a treat at 200 calories, 15 grams of fiber, 20 grams of protein and 5 grams of net carbs. Love this!

I have gestational diabetes and had to go on a strict low carb diet. My numbers were good but I struggled to get my fasting blood sugar down. They told me to eat a high protein snack before bed. I tried lots of snack some worked for a little some didn't my fasting sugars would range from 93-100. If I could not stay under 95 I would have so start insulin injections. But once I tried the quest chocolate peanut butter as my snack bet for bed my fasting sugars became 83-88 which is amazing. I was able to go the rest of the pregnancy with out the threat of injecting insulin and for the I am super grateful.

I have been buying these bars for many years. The company recently substituted the prebiotic fiber with soluable corn fiber, which is known for causing diarreha and other gastrointestinal problems. It happened to my 89 yr old mother. After about a month & a half of her having bowel issues in the morning we figured out it was the new ingredients. Once she stopped eating the bars, her bowel problems cleared up. BAD substitution!

I’ve heard a lot of good things regarding Quest. Decided to finally give the brand a shot and this was the first flavor I picked. The second I bit into it, the taste was nothing close to cookie dough. It’s super chalky, bland and the after taste lingers. I took a couple bites thinking it would grow on me and nothing. It’s nothing but terrible. It’s a skippable bar, no doubt about it!
Okay. I’ve been been eating these the wrong way for years. My “go to” has always been the Chocolate Brownie. I keep one in my bag for a quick lunch or snack. But, recently, when craving crunchy cookies to snack on, I happened upon the option of creating quick cookies from quest bars. Basically, I divide a bar into 8 pieces, arrange the pieces on parchment paper with space between them, put them in the microwave for 30 seconds, mash them flat with a fork, and back into the microwave for another 20-30 seconds (I’ve got a low wattage machine — your cook time may be different). [This can also be done in the oven — one site says 8 min at 360, but I haven’t personally tried that.] Once cooled, I have delightfully crunchy little cookies that I can put in a small container ... MoreOkay. I find that where I used to eat an entire bar because that was how it’s packaged, I can now grab a few little cookies between meetings, and that tides me over, or I can finish off my lunch with a protein packed dessert. I’ve tried this with several different flavors, and ironically, brownie is my least favorite... but, none of them have been bad. So far, my favorites have been peanut butter brownie smash (hands down favorite!), chocolate chip cookie dough, oatmeal chocolate chip and white chocolate raspberry. Double chocolate chunk, pumpkin pie, cinnamon roll and birthday cake were good, but not on my everyday rotation. The bottom line is that if you’re looking for a little low carb, high protein variety, this may be a good option for you.
I absolutely love this flavor of the Quest bars. It’s also softer and tastes amazingly great! I highly received these! I had RNY surgery many years ago and these are a great tool to help me keep my protein intake up and get me through emergencies while stuck out shopping. Try these! They satisfy your hunger without causing you to swerve into a bad choice!
This was one of the greatest protein bars ever made, it was delicious! For those of you who will never know the wonderful taste (because now they’ve gone and made them better) it was like a Oreo cookie mixed with this wonderful minty chunk and covered with chocolate…. Not this mushy aftertaste bar they’re selling you now!I’m so sorry I ordered 6 boxes!!!They should tell people before they destroy a product! at least send you a sample !!! These areNOT what I ordered!!!!!!Oh and PLEASE DON’T MAKE ANYMORE “BETTER “
I love the S'mores One Bar but this one has it beat! Soft nougat-y texture (reminded me of the Barebells bar nougat centers) with large chocolate chunks and pieces of gluten free graham crackers. I was suprised to see actual chunks of stuff in there. Most protein bars just have the "flavor" and not actual mix-ins. I've tried a lot of protein bars and this is definitely the tastiest. Also genuinely satisfying. The calorie count is low enough that it can be just a snack to satisfy a sweet craving.
