QV is a brand that I have learn't to love for my little ones, after trying a number of other brands and finding them to irritate their Eczema prone skin, so it's not surprising that I found the Bath Oil to be fantastic as well.The oil is a simple and straightforward product that you simply add to a warm bath. My daughter soaked in the bath for around 10 minutes and then once we patted her dry it was obvious that a portion of the oil had remained on her skin to re-hydrate it. On the skin it did not feel overly oily which was great, nor did it stain her sheets and bedding.The oil dispersed into the bathwater very easily and didn't sit around the bath once emptied like others I have tried.This was a great way to soothe and treat her dry, patchy and itchy skin and ... We started using QV bath oil when, at the change of seasons, our baby developed mild eczema and general dry skin alongside other skin infections. It was so gentle and didn’t upset my baby’s irritated skin at all. It doesn’t leave any lingering residue and is pleasant to use. I’ve used it myself too with great results. One of the unexpected benefits of using the QV bath oil was that it finally resolved our little one’s persistent cradle cap! No number of other treatments worked, but this seemed to loosen the cradle cap and heal the skin so effortlessly.

I was pleasantly surprised as I have found QV creams and cream cleansers not suitable for my skin whilst this worked really well and I will be buying this in the future.Made in Australia.

The bath is a lovely milky consistency. The oil makes it easy to clean milky residue etc off so that bub is clean in no time at all. The oil isn’t harsh or stripping on the skin and is perfect for maintaining delicate newborn skin. After bathing with the oil my little boy has super soft skin. There product has no strong fragrances and is all round a pleasant product to use. The cap is a good way to measure product required although a squirt lid or similar would be slightly more practical in reducing spillage ... We were recommended this bath oil by our MCHN due to a bit of skin irritation.We have been using it pretty much since our little one was only a few months old. We alternate baths using the oil a few times a week and the QV baby bath wash the other days.Easy to use, just a cap full in a baby bath is more than enough. It disperses easily in water and leaves a white opaque tinge to the water once it’s mixed in.Splash the water all over the body and the oil provides a nice moisture protection to the skin. Non fragranced but still pleasant. Skin feels soft and moisturised straight away.The bottle will last a long time for the amount you use in a baby bath.
