I received a sample with my last order and it really exceeded my expectations. I've tried other "air dry" products but wasn't impressed. Cool Wind left my hair smooth and soft without any heaviness, stickiness, or crunchiness. I just ordered a full size, and I'm excited to get it. I feel like this one product is going to save me so much time in the mornings!

I got a sample of Cool Wind pH Perfect Air Dry Crème with a recent order. I clarified and conditioned my 1c/medium/virgin hair, towel-dried, and applied only this product on damp hair to test it out (no additional leave-ins like oils, sprays, or serums).The product is a lotiony consistency that spreads easily. The scent is light, pleasant, and doesn’t linger. I used a scant dime-sized amount for my dense chin-length bob. A little definitely goes a long way. The product didn’t give a lot of crunch as my hair dried, but it had decent hold.So I let my hair air-dry for about 4 hours, went to bed, and slept on my “style” all night (no silk pillowcase or cap, gasp). Once I add a dab of Two-Way Mirror oil, the shine and softness will be absolutely incredible. This is exactly how I want my natural hair to be as I grow it out.

This was my first purchase from R+Co, but certainly not my last! I’m 57, Japanese & Greek. I’ve hardly any grays thanks to my Asian mom, but my hair is very coarse - almost thread like. From my Greek side, my hair is wavy. Coarse & wavy are an odd combo & my ends have def endured some damage. Also, Aging & stress have caused thinning. Been searching forever for a leave in conditioner that is made specifically for hair to air dry & THIS is it! I can also blow dry/style but prefer the former. Cool Wind addresses all my quirky concerns. Leaves my hair soft, shiny & full. It also feels & looks so much healthier! And it beautifully Complements my waves. My hair NEVER feels weighed down & I love the smell. I just love it ALL! My only complaint? Bigger bottles please!!

I have long, straight-to-wavy hair, with medium thickness, and I occasionally like to let it air dry for a more natural, wavy look. Unfortunately, this cream has a strong herbal smell. I realize that some people may like that, but it was nauseating to me. I don't mind a light herbal smell, but this smells like I just came from a hippy convention. I'll give it 3 stars because it does what it's supposed to do, and for the off chance that maybe the smell was just due to how it reacted with my hair (doubt it), but I won't be repurchasing it unless they change the scent.
I hate blow drying my hair. I am typically a wash and go type of person. I tried this to see if adding a small amount of product would help my hair look better with keeping super low maintenance. The results are great and got compliments with multiple people thinking I had just been to a salon. After applying I scrunched my hair and the product brought out more of my slight natural wave I have in mostly straight hair.
LOVING this hair crème! I’ve been using the Cool Winds paired with Turntable for that last month now and I’m loving how my hair looks and feels after it dries naturally. I have really thick wavy/curly hair and I’m very minimalist when it comes to my hair and a hair routine. I always air dry my hair, the only time it’s dried and styled is after I see my hair stylist. I was using Highdive, which I also love, but wanted to try something that’s geared more towards air drying and curls, so my stylist suggested trying this crème along with Turntable. I’m happy I tried Cool Winds and it'll definitely be part of my hair routine now. I can tell my hair seems healthier, smoother and my curls are more defined and less frizzy.
My teen daughter showers after sports and lets her hair dry naturally. After applying to damp hair creates a smooth finish to her hair, leaving it beautiful for school in the morning, and allowing some slight natural wave. Her friends think she had a professional wash and style. She had a very short Xmas list, and this was one of the items on it.
I’ve used this a few times already and it makes styling a breeze! On hair wash day I apply this last and then braid my hair and go to bed while it sets. I wake up with beautiful waves. I even tried it will rollers overnight for a blow out look and again was not disappointed! Even just letting it air dry makes a world of difference. This made my hair feel unbelievably soft and made it look like I put more effort into my hair than I did. By day 3-4 I’m ready to throw my hair up in a claw clip, so I just wet my hair with a spray bottle till it’s the equivalent to “towel dried” apply this again and wait about 30 minutes (so my hair doesn’t stay wet all day and throw it back in the clip! So so easy and smells great! So happy with the results!
My hair is on the thick/coarse side, and I've had a pixie cut for going on 13 years.
