Railblaza StarPort HD Black

The item is great. FedX shipping horrible. Was in Topeka for 3 days. Should have been here Friday. Didn’t arrive until Monday. I needed them Saturday.

This product is the missing puzzle for my setup. I purchased a mount for my Garmin, but was not able to install it because I was missing the Starpoint base. It would be nice if products were sort linked to other products as a component/requirement for complete installation.

Good, as advertised in the catalogue very easy to install. Had to get different hardware the hardware that comes with this product would not fit my kayak

Another Good Railblaza Product

I used this with the track mount option. Although you can’t see it in the photo, there are two partial holes in the bottom. Just drill those the rest of the way and use two track bolts. Great for accessories that torque (like rod holders) that you want to add to a track.

As with all Railblaza gear

As with all Railblaza gear these star ports are great quality. The smaller profile means they fit in confined spaces like on the gunwhale of our polycraft and on the bow of the kayak. Interchangability of the star port system means I can buy one item, such as the Railblaza rod holder, that can be used across the boat, plastic kayak and fibreglass ski - a great moneysaver on top of Freak Sports already competitive pricing. Reasonable component pricing also means I can add star ports around the boat and kayak over a few months without noticing the expense. Winner all round.

Decent product but double check that lock

This is great mounted on the rail of my kayak. Just make sure you lock in the attachment good. It's sometimes finicky to get it to lock in which causes me to lose my rod holder. I do like the product though and blame myself for not locking it in better. I'll just get another holder.

Great product excellent quality

Used this Starport to mount the ScreenGrabba on the navigation station desktop of my Robertson 950 Sports yacht to hold and display the iPad navigation app. Attached using 3M double sided tape instead of the included screws or bolts and thus avoided the need to drill holes in the desktop.

Railblaza Kayak accessories

I continue to find Railblaza products to add to the deck of my Kayak that make life so much easier to access all the bits and pieces that you carry when out on the water. From products that you only need in an emergency, when you have to be able to have them secure and in close reach if required. The fact the all Railblaza products lock in but can be removed if not needed, leaving the deck clean, they are tough and do not break if knocked while transporting the Kayak, all in all a great product, I highly recommend this product to any person out on the water, regardless of their craft.Regards, P.Wright, Kayaker,Scenic Rim Qld.

Railblaza StarPort HD

I prefer these to the round Starports. I find I get a much more secure fix and they tend to hold heavier attachments better. I have a couple mounted on tracks and they're brilliant. Reassuring click when locked in and I've never had one fail yet! They also hold stuff well should you forget to lock them in - which I've done on one or two occasions!

The HD is an excellent

The HD is an excellent and robust universal mount. I have a sea kayak with a flat rear deck. I have put one 35cm behind my cockpit for a night light boom and the second hd furthur near the stern for a camera extension pole mount. Amazing accessories.
