I love this bag’s elegant and minimalist design. It is also practical because of the extra capacity created by the roll top. I like the side pocket for carrying my yoga blanket or for keeping documents flat in transit. I appreciate the thick comfortable straps and the mesh backing. It is good value for money. The Dune colour is neutral and fresh. I bought a long jacket to match my bag in Dune too.

Love this thing! My Rains Backpack was starting to get a little ragged, so I decided it was time for an upgrade, and then they announced the Bay color for F/W 2024. One of the best colors they've released, and there are some great ones. Perfect for my daily commute work bag. Laptop sleeve is easily accessible and fits my 16 in. MacBook Pro. I like having the front pocket, though it is a little tighter than the Backpack's inner pocket.

Exquisitely stylish, it’s aesthetically pleasing without sacrificing functionality or practicality. I have a Spiral that has been superb but I wanted something equally brilliant to alternate with. Although the top does not zip close (like the Spiral) it’s excellent closure means a tight roll down prevents water ingress. Look, I don’t give “gushing” reviews but when a product’s excellent it deserves credit. Incidentally, the customer service (including notifications, packaging etc) was exemplary - well done!

And while I've yet to use the 'sack in the rain (tomorrow purports to be the first time), I'm optimistic all its contents will be safe from precipitation.Where this bag works:Color, comfort in carrying, fit like backpacks ought to.Where this bag has opportunity (or I'm no longer the target market):It's a real struggle to get a 16" laptop in the sleeve. LOVE this product so far. The blue is very unique, and the bag looks/feels well-made. My only complaint is that there is no small interior pocket inside the main area of the bag (to put wallet, keys, etc). You get the padded side pocket for your laptop, the front sipper pocket, and that's it. It's fine, and I still love the bag, but it is a small feature I found disappointing.
I had to wait out the drought before offering an opinion, but after a solid week of rain, I am happy to report that the bag is holding up great and keeping my items dry. It’s minimal and stylish to me, which makes it as versatile as it is functional. I will be looking to purchase rain coat because I’m so taken with the bag. I would give it 5 stars but find the front pocket to be a little small and uncomfortable to use, but if you’re not a traveling packrat who needs that, it will be great for you. It’s just hard to fit my wallet and janitor style keys in there and those items are uncomfortable to store in the back pocket on my bike. Other than my personal preferences, it’s a great product!
I love the material-- can tell it is very durable. The back/side pocket/zipper is nice for compartmentalizing. I wish the clasp/hook was easier to maneuver to lock the bag/top. An option for a water bottle-holder would be ideal as well. Still love the bag and would recommend it to just about anyone.

I expected a wider bag with more volume inside. The belt at chest height can't be removed, it may feel uncomfortable for some people who don't want to fasten the buckle. The colour is between light blue and grey. The zippers get a bit jammed (they wanted to make it extra waterproof). There's a bigger pocket (40cm) on the right side for the laptop. It seems it's designed for hiking, I expected a more casual design, to travel and carry clothes and a bottle of water, maybe for going to work, my lunch box fits, although the bag is only 10cm wide (outside measures).
from the color to material, everything screams quality. I love how much thought is put into every detail. I absolutely love the laptop pocket and I am pretty sure my laptop loves it too, haha. The shoulder straps and really comfortable and soft. Another favourite part of mine is the zippers, they are so sleek, it seems like they disappear when they are closed. Personally, happy with the bag, I wish Rains had designed my life too! haha ‍♂
