This fabric is lightweight and 100% waterproof; I like that it's easily packable and it did keep me dry during a day-long drizzle. However, the fit is very strange, perhaps because of the thin fabric -- it seems to need more structure and definition, especially around the shoulders. Worse yet, the visor of the hood hangs so low that it completely obscures one's line of vision, which drove me absolutely nuts. I had to roll it back 2 or 3 rolls in order to see, repeatedly as it kept coming loose. This is a design flaw, not a function of my posture or how I held my head. Worst of all, J. This Rains waterproof jacket is perfect. Very comfortable, great fit and I'm so glad to have it. The sleeves do run a little long, but for me I don't mind at all. Fantastic purchase. I'm generally an XL in tops, I ordered this in an XXL and think the XL would have fit be be a tad small so the XXL is a good fit for me.

I usually wear a M in every top and jacket but got this in L . This raincoat is slightly small. Perfect if you just want to wear a shirt under it. But if you want to wear sweaters or sweatshirts under it think about the next size. The sleeves are very long, although I usually wear a M petite (5’3” and 135) so my arms are not long. There are snaps to tighten but I have small wrists. I usually need long or midi dresses altered so simply have Nordstroms alter the sleeves or a local dry cleaner usually can do it. Totally waterproof and smell went away after a few days. Awesome for our trip to Ireland. The belt snaps on so you won’t loose it.
