The Ralph Lauren Romance Parfumerie Intense is very alluring. This is definitely a scent I would reserve for a date night, or special romantic evening/occasion. It has floral notes, that stand out, initially, yet after applying, it also has cedar/sandalwood scent, which I personally love. A little goes along ways, and it wears well, once applied, it wore well, and I could still smell later into the evening . I felt no need to reapply this perfume. I did receive compliments when wearing, and have been asked what scent/type of perfume I was wearing. I don’t currently have this one in my rotation but this was my first “grownup perfume” as a teen. To me it’s just a classic scent that I fell in love with immediately and couldn’t wait to wear. The floral notes of rose are complimented by chamomile and lily. The under notes of citrus and a woody musk are the perfect balance! It lasts for hours as it’s an EDP so you’ll absolutely get compliments throughout the day and I feel the EDPs are just a better investment and worth the money. It’s a very feminine scent without being overpowering. It’s subtle enough for the office but is also a great choice for date night.

Overall not a bad fragrance, it’s crispy with a lot of flower notes. Great for every day. It actually very suits to Ralph Lauren name (imagine horses, cowboy hats, white button up and blue jeans). It is not overpowering, you won’t be bothering people around you. It definitely won’t do all day. It is very unrecognizable, it is no Hermes, no Chanel no.5, no Dior Jadore etc. It also doesn’t smell like luxury but not like a cheap perfume either. The $65 for 1 oz sounds just about right. I rarely get perfumes under $100 for this reason. You will just “smell nice” but is it a soap, lotion or a perfume, nobody can tell. I need a little more from my perfume.

Romance by Ralph Lauren is feminine, clean and fresh. The very romantic top notes of jasmine, rose, mandarin and pink peppercorn dissipates to a beautiful sensual musky, woody but light powdery bottom base. It’s the perfect balance of warm and spicy, but light and floral. This perfume is wearable anytime - office/ dates. It would make a great gift for your special classy lady. The eau de parfum lasts for hours. This classic fragrance from RL was launched in 1998 and is still timeless as is the traditional clear square atomizer.

I first bought it when it had just come out and loved it so much. Recently, I bought a smaller bottle. The scent smelled slightly different, which I was OK with, but the staying power is just not there! I noticed at the bottom of the bottle that it is distributed by a NY company that appears to be packaging perfumes for loreal, etc. So the new one isn't fake, but something has definitely changed. I received these @ralphlauren Romance EDP s from @macys recently tried it last night. 💕 The first impression I got was floral, warm spicy notes. It has excellent projection longevity. I could still smell it on me this morning, so it lasts at least 8 hours. I think this is a more wintery fragrance because of the warm spicy notes. It's very feminine such a beautiful scent. 💕 The notes are: Top: Rose, Chamomile, Ginger, Lemon, Yellow Freesia Mid: Lily, Lotus, White Violet, Carnation Base: White Musk, Oakmoss, Exotic Woods, Patchouli I would definitely recommend this fragrance, especially for winter. 5 stars for me! 💕

I do not think that it is the same formula as the Romance EDP that I have used for the last 25 years. It used to smell so good and stay with you all day and into the night with maybe a little touch up. It smelled so good. Many compliments (especially from the guys). It does not smell the same and the dry down is quicker. But, I restocked and this time I also bought the Romance Parfum to see if it is the same as the EDP or something different. We will see. By the way, I was 18 when I bought it.

Scent that lasts all day long

The scent isn't my absolute favorite, but it is a nice smell. It's a very fresh scent (I usually go for something more sweet or sensual). The thing I really love about this perfume though is that it lasts all day long. I washed up & dressed in the morning and put a few squirts on my wrists and neck. I could literally still smell it until that night when I was getting ready for my shower. I've never had a perfume last that long. I'd definitely try another Ralph Lauren perfume but probably wouldn't buy this one again. I'd recommend for anyone who loves a fresh clean scent.

Was my favorite perfume for 15 years

This perfume used to last all day and would last on my clothes for days, when I went to wash my clothes i could still smell it. And i absolutely loved it. Now all I smell when I spray it is rubbing alcohol. I have order this perfume/gotten from different stores just to make sure. I even ordered from Ralph Lauren's website, and they gave me a full refund. I have a very hard time with perfumes as I get headaches very easily due to scents, now I can't find a perfume that I can wear. I'm guessing they messed with the formula, why change something when nothing was wrong with it. So very disappointed that I now have no perfume to wear anymore. I wish they would go back to the regular formula, bc this one doesn't last!
