I hate hate hate this foundation! 1 star because its affordable, i didn't like the applicator either. For me, I dont like the plan boring look of the bottle it comes in. Something you expect the Kardashians to do with their products. But I'm not judgeing the look, just how the foundation preformed and I absolutely hate it on my skin. Here are some of the things that stood out to me: Lightweight feel: The Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation lives up to its name - it feels incredibly lightweight on the skin. It doesn't feel heavy or cakey at all, and it blends seamlessly into the skin for a natural-looking finish. Buildable coverage: I found that this foundation was easy to build up to provide more coverage where I needed it. It has a natural finish, so even when I added more layers, it didn't look too heavy or unnatural. Long-lasting wear: I was pleasantly surprised by how long this foundation lasted on my skin. Overall, I would highly recommend the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Liquid Touch Weightless Foundation to anyone looking for a lightweight, long-lasting foundation with buildable coverage and a wide shade range. It's a great option for everyday wear, and it gives a natural-looking finish that's perfect for a variety of occasions.

I bought the Rare Beauty Weightless Foundation mostly because of its large shade range. I was very impressed not only by the number of shades, but also undertones. As someone who is brown skinned our choices in foundation undertones can be straight up red or yellow, which completely ignores darker women with cooler, neutral or more olive undertones. This is something that makes buying foundation very tricky. Before opening this foundation, SHAKE IT! Mix it up well. It might spill while opening for the very first time, which is a little annoying. At first I thought I got a bad shade match, but I was swatching on the underside of my arm, which is an area typically lighter than your face (swatch on your chest instead!). The applicator is a doe foot applicator, which is so handy and really cool for a foundation. Only cons for me it’s that you don’t want to let it try before blending it out- it won’t budge. Also, I did experience creasing, but on my smile lines because I smile a lot throughout the day, so that is something to keep note of.

Okay so this has been the third time I’ve tried this to find my colour! For reference, I’m a warmer tone underneath I’d say more towards yellow/olive but when I tan I go slightly orange & I am a light medium-medium skin tone! For us browner skin girlies, more towards the spectrum of the lighter side. This foundation is AMAZING! I will say it clings to dry spots but if you have a great moisturizer underneath & primer it will not cling! It feels like butter on my skin & absolutely weightless. For reference I have sensitive skin too, and I’m always super nervous to try foundations because I end up with massive congestion and I could have it could potentially be hives it really depends on the ingredients. This foundation did me justice!I would advise giving it a good shake, it is super runny so don’t be alarmed but if you blend it right I use a brush & a blender you will be so surprised by the results!Like this is my new foundation. I would HIGHLY recommend and it does not shift it feels so lightweight! I did a wear test to & let me tell you 12 hours later and it slightly bit creased (that happens to me with foundations anyways) but it was amazing! Still flawless. It is more medium to fill coverage & is so buildable! You just gotta work with it & have a great base before applying!

All about Preference
22 April 2023

The foundation is cakey/gritty and dry. The feel of it was like pigmented water. I didn't really know what to expect though so I took a leap and bought it. I will not be buying it again. My skin needs moisture but can also be oily and I prefer a foundation with a cream texture, which I don't think this one was creamy enough. So, I think it's just about preference.I bout a blush as well and I did really enjoy the blush! I would buy again. It seemed to have a nice texture and beautiful coloring and seemed to melt into my skin. I don't know If the formula is different or the same between the foundation and blush but the blush seems to agree with me more.I also like the primer. It was lightweight and smooth. It was thick as in heavy, like it wasn't as lightweight as it could be.Overall, I was just trying some new products and not all worked but I did find a gem or two. I obviously don't think it's for everyone but then again, my skin isn't perfect and needs specific criteria to look nice. I will say that I didn't get any adverse reactions to any of the products, so that was great!Hope this helps!

Brown-Skinned Girlies, this is NOT for us

I love Rare Beauty so much, but this foundation was not it for me. I used the primer from MILK makeup beforehand and it was still a bit patchy for me. That’s okay. I wasn’t really upset about that part. I am really new to makeup, so I am currently learning the correct way to do it on my face. What did bother me, though, was how orange it looked on my skin because I remember reading those orange skin tint reviews about this foundation. Then I double-checked to see which color I bought: 320W or the medium with warm golden undertones. There is no doubt in my mind that this foundation would have worked on my skin, but I guess Selena’s definition of warm is to go orange all the way. Plus, I used an Android to capture this selfie, so the orange color might not come out that great.

Love the tone, texture, and packaging.

I love the olive tone to this 170W as it's not easy to find olive undertone for light skin. It feel the color matches me well.I wash my face, apply moisturizer, and then apply the foundation and the liquid foundation dries to a bit of creamy, yet powdery finish. I like it. This product does work better with a silicone based primer but sometimes I just apply a hydrating moisturizer before applying this foundation to prevent dry patches showing through, along with routinely using a gentle salicylic acid treatment to exfoliate skin.Lightweight packaging! I prefer this packaging to heavy glass bottles as it's so easy to handle. I love the ball on top. Not for textured/acne + dry skin

This foundation is absolutely not for me. I was looking for a full-coverage foundation to hide my redness and acne and saw that this one had great reviews. Back then my skin was normal/oily which is why I got this foundation since it stated it was for this skin type. However, due to the medicine I take for my acne, my skin became extremely dry and I can tell you this foundation is absolutely not for dry skin. It states in the description it's for normal/combo/oily skin, but if you have dry skin don't even think about it. All my dry patches were showing, and it was so unappealing. I don't want to hate this foundation too much because it can be good for others. I'll have to try back once my skin is normal again... The undertone I picked was also slightly off too but that's on me. However, I really hate the smell and texture of this foundation. It's really thick and creamy which is not something I like (I prefer more liquid foundations) because it feels gross on the skin. I still recommend it, but only if you have normal to oily skin and not a lot of texture.

I took awhile to purchase this brand cause I am a creature of habit. I have my die hard foundations and concealers. Been watching a lot of reviews about it and a review is a review you have to try it for yourself to figure out if your skin meshes well with the product. The shades are beautiful, found my perfect shade and I just love the fact that it's so moisturizing and not drying. I have older skin soooo I need that. Really love the formula almost like kvd serum but really moisturizing. The reviews were not that kind to the concealer but being me I gave it a try and I think it's very good coverage and is very moisturizing under the eyes. Worst foundation ever

The literal worst foundation I've ever used in my life. I quite literally prefer cheap foundations over this foundation. I've spent my entire life known as the girl with "perfect skin" so if it doesn't even look good on me, I don't know how this could possibly look good on anybody. It doesn't even look good upon first application, but by the end of the day, it's extremely dry and patchy. It does not blend well, it's peeling off my skin each day, and I've been using this for about a month now. I moisturizer beforehand, apply the Rare primer, and it still just ends up looking god awful. This was the biggest waste of money in terms of makeup products, and I cannot recommend this to anyone. I literally don't know how anybody likes this foundation, which is upsetting ... MoreThe literal worst foundation I've ever used in my life. I literally don't know how anybody likes this foundation, which is upsetting because I wanted to love it so much after hearing the hype, but after trying out all her makeup, I end up feeling uglier than I did before I even applied anything which is pathetic. If someone with "perfect skin" my whole life can't even get it to work upon application let alone last throughout the day, I have no idea how anyone could possibly enjoy this.
