I've had this highlighter for eight months, and though I use a bit every day there is still tons left. I was definitely influenced and got this more for the packaging and "look" of it rather than the actual product, and it was my first liquid highlighter so my expectations weren't high.The packaging is gorgeous which really makes up for most of the flaws, but the inside of the bottle (where the hole is for the applicator to sit inside) collects tons of product and gets super messy. On the cheekbones or other classic spots to put highlighter, I never find myself reaching for it. The product is super difficult to blend, dries extremely quickly, and I find it turns out patchy and looks quite unnatural. I suggest applying to the fingers then patting on for best results.Overall, it is still a cute and relatively inexpensive liquid highlighter. For something on a lower price point I would suggest the liquid Elf highlighter.

Glowy, dewy, and highlights really well

Got this during the sale which makes it easier to say that it’s something I like using!It gives a glow and dewy look. The colour amplifies the product which I think may have given it the upper hand compared to the powder which looks more sheer compared.The liquid seems to set down and doesn’t budge which makes it longer lasting compared to the powder.However, I do notice that the liquid sets into the pores into the tip of my nose which I don’t like. I guess blending in trying to mask it will have to do.The powder seems to be better at not doing that. The powder compared is still very glowy, like a wet look. Also hoping it won’t mess up the foundation underneath cause I did hear a few say that. So far, the product has been good and I thought was sheer but actually has more “coverage” or colour to the powder.

I saw a TikTok or use this product. She used rare beauty in the color captivated. At first I was a little worried about the color being too much. I have very pale skin with dark brownish, green eyes and very dark brown hair. I gave it a shot, and I absolutely love it! She used it in different areas of her face, so I tried it out as well. I use it as an eyeshadow, and a contouring bronzer, and I also use just a tiny tiny bit that’s left on my brush after blending, I use it on my lips. It really highlights the areas perfectly! I have followed asleep with my make up on I know don’t judge, and it’s still on my face perfectly the next day. I have recommended this to everybody that will listen and I am trying more rare beauty products in the future.

Multi use worth experimenting

RB Shade: Reflect similar warm bronze shade/ use as original CT spotlight illuminate wand but more liquid. Following MUA claims of travel multi use (eyeshadow, bronzer, highlight, blush and lip go to). I was keen to try. Success on 2nd trial but nearly gave away after 1st use. A great one in done shadow when applied first on back of hand and then by finger to eyelids buffed in with shadow brush. Also a long lasting shadow base. Beautiful and lasting on lips under clear lip oil or just sit in centre of lips and nice as highlighted blush on cheekbones. Unless young with no texture in complexion I wouldn’t recommend use as a contour or face-base.

If you use too much it doesn’t come off by rubbing and instead it just gets glowier . The texture is a little pasty but that is just my opinion , I really recommend using your fingers to blend as when I used a sponge the sponge mostly absorbed it and left a big patch that was unblendable on the spot where I have originally placed my product . I would also not recommend using a brush as all the brushes that I have used have not even moved the product anywhere . The product has a glass wand with a sponge like tip . The lid is a sheer pink that is incredibly beautiful and compliments the c olour of the highlighter . All in all this product is beautiful , luminizing and perfect for any dancers whether you do skating , dance , gymnastics or ballet . The shade that I have bought is a lovely pearly shade entitled enlightened . It is perfect for all seasons but especially summer as the sun will hit the highlighter and make you the centre of attention !

Stardust in a bottle!

This stuff is amazing!! I was hesitant to blind buy it without testing it in stores but I was not disappointed! It blends so well, and a little goes a LONG way! It also doesn’t look cheap and metallic or have glitter chunks, it is very finely ground to create the perfect shimmer. It doesn’t look like tacky glitter sitting on your cheeks. This highlighter catches sunlight so beautifully, you will look radiant. Also a great value for the money! The bottle is full to the top with product, you can see this when you take the applicator out. One bottle of this stuff will last you forever. Subtle but buildable shimmer for the face.

I have very pale skin that can sometimes be difficult to match to makeup, so the idea of an essentially white highlighting product was attractive. The product applies in a relatively sheer, but buildable manner. While it can look a bit yellow in the tube, I didn’t notice any yellow cast on my skin, which is nice.I’m somewhat new to liquid highlight, so I don’t have loads to directly compare to, however overall this has been working well once I got used to it. I have used cream/liquid blush and eyeshadows so I’m not totally new to fluid pigments, just highlight specifically. I would say overall this performs closer to an eyeshadow than a blush. I have found application with my fingers to be most effective, since the warmth seems to keep it blend-able for a bit longer, and also lets me control where it goes. I gently run three of my fingers across the wand, then press it into the tops of my cheekbones, on the sides of my face. The shimmer is fairly apparent, so if you are just going for that subtle gleam, a little goes a long way. I have played with using a bit more on the eyes and it does seem to lay nicely ever when built up.If you already have a liquid eyeshadow, I don’t know if this would add anything to your collection, likewise I don’t know that it being a liquid really adds much to the highlighting process. I do plan to continue to use the product, however I don’t think I will repurchase it as a highlighter; for the effect I prefer (a light subtle graze), powders just seems to be easier. I would consider buying a slightly darker color to use as eyeshadow though, since it works just as well as any of my liquid shadows and could be a better value.

This product is subpar, nothing like the blushes

As far as the color/shades go, they are beautiful but unfortunately the texture/consistency of this product is not there. I bought a mini recently for my professional kit and I am glad I got that size because I will not be repurchasing again. Once applied it blends out very matte, unlike most of the blush shades. It’s almost like a liquid to powder consistency. It does not leave a dewy finish on the skin and tends to lose its potency in pigment once blended out.I’m used to using the Charlotte tilbury highlighters. They have a much more wet texture and illuminating pop on the skin and found this product lackluster in comparison.Again, the colors are beautiful but the consistency is meh. Hopefully they reformulate this in the future!
