Ray-Ban Black Wayfarer Sunglasses

Ray-ban is the only brand I have bought for 48 years. I love them! Classic styles and great quality. My first pair were an olympic version that I bought in the 1970's with different colored stripes around the edges of the black frames. I wish I still had them.

54mm Wayfarers for Celebrating Life

A unique, beautiful, and made in Italy pair of Wayfarers I found on Ray-Ban's web site days after my mother went home to the L-rd (the morning after her birthday).I bought these for November 2 Día de los Muertos celebrations to honor and remember all of the great things my mom did for her family and for the world. She had a great sense of humor about life and death, and I dig my Ray-Bans, so this purchase was a natural.We love you, Mom!

Beautiful Emerald Shades

Green(Emerald/Forest Green) is my favorite color. The color is dark indoors can pass as almost black but outdoor it’s the most beautiful green. I absolutely love these shades. I’m so glad I found these—definitely a keeper and got a few compliments already. It’s a bit over priced so if you can wait for it go on sale then it’s better.

Do not buy, it's not a transition lens..its only a blue filter glasses.If not that i misplaced the packaging, I would have returned it cos why would I buy a blue light filter glass for $150? As far as Ray-Bans go, these have to be one of the classics. I think they look pretty nice on everybody. They’re not the most extravagant or luxe pair of shades. They’re more of a foundation/basic/staple. Kind of like a plain white t-shirt; you’re not going to wear it to work or to impress your family, but you wear them on casual weekends out. They’re like the perfect shades for that. I, personally, love that.

Great experience with EZ Contacts. I originally purchased the Ray-ban RB2140, G15 Green lens, 54mm glasses. They showed up on my doorstep rapidly and in mint condition. However, the RB2140, 54mm was too big, even for my slightly large head. After further reviewing multiple videos online, I decided to exchange them for the Rayban RB2140 F, Asian Fit, 52mm, G15 Green Lens. I bought them thinking I probably have to send them back. I was afraid they were going to be too small for my face (I tried the Ray-Ban app and oh how weird these sunglasses looked on my face), but I have been thinking about these for quite some time now. I thought why not try it out and settle the battle in my head once and for all. I almost cried when I saw they were a great fit (these days weird things make me cry :D), they weren't too big or too small - they were perfect! You have to take into account that there is the famous "tilt" - meaning upper part of the glasses are a bit tilted away from your face, but somehow it works with my face. Either way, I am extremely happy! And they arrived amazingly fast.

After wearing Vuarnet 4002 for a million years I finally tired of the yellowish tint and went to Ray-Bans, and got the brown lenses after trying my wifes brown Ray-Bans. The Wayfarer lenses tilt inward downward to better block glare from snow or watera thoughtful feature and an historical detail of Wayfarers. Back in the 70s I worked at a place that sold a lot of sunglasses, and I remember that was a selling point. These days people buy Wayfarers to look like Bob Dylan or Roy Orbison, and might not appreciate or use that cheek-hugging, glare-blocking feature on Madison Avenue, but they get it, anyway.The rigid temples are easy to hold in your mouth when you have to, and we all have to sometime. He was talking about (I THINK he was thinking about) shallow-thinking, flippant consumers way more into their appearance than finding a meaningful existence. Now and then, OK, for different occasions, or whatever. But not every other day, for crying out loud.

Web Page VS In-Person

Ordered these glasses for pickup. Happily picked up the glasses and went to lunch. Pulled them out to see the subtle violet color, as pictured online, only to find that in person they were a garish, light color. Instead of dark lenses as expected, they were very light and orange. I'm a big fan and buyer of Ray-Ban glasses, but these were definitely not for me. Hopefully whoever photographs these glasses will redo the pics so potential buyers know what they're ordering.
