Ray Ban New Wayfarer Sunglasses Black

Great quality product, lovely case and cleaning cloth as described. Great gift for my boyfriend who had tried them on in a store (for the style and size) as these come in at least a couple of sizes. Great price compared to other retailers.

Cheap Plastic

I was told to submit a new review because my first review didn't meet their guidelines! Is it because I called it Dollar Store Quality?? Is it because I have owned Ray-Bans for over 25 Years and when I received these that they were sub-par? Meaning they are cheap plastic that I would expect at the Dollar Store? These glasses are a disgrace to the Ray-Ban name. I have 3 different models of Ray-Bans that I have owned since I was in my 20's. I lost my Wayfarers and bought these to replace them. Complete CRAP. Not even worth a dollar. Is this a better review? Because evidently you didn't like my first one and asked me to submit another. DON'T BUY THESE. CHEAP PLASTIC

Coolest sunglasses at an affordable price

I wanted rayban wayfarers but didnt know which style.I tried high street shops first before ordering and once I knew my size/style, I looked online. (2132/52)A high street opticians quoted £350-400 for a varifocal lens prescription, so I looked at select specs insteadMy glasses took a little longer than expected but I was kept informed by email.The cost was just £158 which is a great price considering the lenses.Very happy with my package which included cloth, case and literature from ray ban.If my prescription changes in the future, I can just get the lenses changed.

Good Quality! Quick shipping!

This is my first pair of Ray-Ban's. New wayfarer with polarized blue/gray gradiant, they work great! Very pleased with quality and with speed of shipping. Ordered Sep 4, advertised delivery by Sep 11. I started thinking they would be delayed when it hadn't shipped by the 8th, but BAM they shipped early on the 9th, 2nd day air and came in a day early Sep 10. Good quality, looks great, high performance. The hinge on new wayfarers is 3 sections, not 5. But they seem sturdy. I was worried about the size since I could not try them on first, but took a chance on the smaller size figuring I could exchange if too small. They fit perfectly, the next size up would be too big. Very pleased, would buy from again!

Love the Sizing Options

Since I have a relatively narrow face, I need a narrower sunglasses and eyeglass frame. Otherwise glasses will stick out too far on both sides of my head. This Ray-Ban model is available in three lens widths: 52, 55 and 58 mm. The 52 mm width is a great fit for me. I appreciate that FramesDirect stocks these multiple widths. The Ray-Ban official website doesnt even do that. The style is phenomenal! The style should look familiar to persons of most ages since its an iconic style that first became popular when they were created in the early 1950s. Oh so comfortable!

Just received these yesterday. I wanted something a little more durable than my flip out tech Aviators and Morgenthal Federics. The original Wayfarers are just too big and angled too much for my taste. So glad I came across these. They're exactly what I was looking for. They sit perfectly on my face and are so comfortable. I could see myself being able to wear these all day without adjusting them. The lens is great too. I got the polarized ones and they're very clear. There's also a small flash mirrored look to it at certain angles which I love. I'm more conservative so just got the rubber matte black but some of the other colors do look cool also. Highly recommend these sunglasses.

PRETTY DISAPPOINTED

It was delivered later than described ...said 2 day delivery ...due to be delivered 4/12... which was one reason for the purchase! BUT, they arrived 3 DAYS after that! It was expected on my son's BD 4/12 ...BUT DIDN'T ARRIVE TILL 15TH!! Disappointed in product... they are not plastic frames but, a rubber-like material. They feel very CHEAP ..even though they were not! I'm not sure if i accidentally chose that style, because, i was not looking for that material in a wayfarer. I wanted a hard plastic style frame, but, my son was ok with them ... not thrilled though. He lost his more EXPENSIVE pair of tortoise frame wayfarers ... so, i was just trying to replace them with something different...just in case he found his other pair. SAD

Rayban 2132 Bought Here on Ebay

There is a lot of misunderstanding for these 2132 Ray Bans. These are legit 100% authentic. The 2132 has a different metal hinge than the 2140. the vintage 2140 style glasses feel way heavy duty compared to these 2132 light weights, but they are still solid. everything about my glasses i received has been authenticated as legit 100%. packing too! the 2132 also will have a "seam" line across the top of the frame and the top of the arms,, this is legit too. for the price, yes there is a premium to be paid for the name Ray Ban, but i would rate these as just below high quality. i wouldnt pay more than $80 for these. I do like these. i just have high standards. Too Small and Uncomfortable

I ordered the New Wayfarers size 55s, which normally fit, but the frames are stiff, the legs creak, and they feel super heavy on my face. My right temple started to hurt after wearing them for 10 minutes. For those that have wider faces, I recommend the model RB4263. These other sunglasses are amazing - lightweight and fit perfectly. Also by default, they come with polarized lenses. I'm returning the Wayfarers.

Ok so, I bought this with prescription lens based on the fact I already owned a pair in black for many years and I assumed I wouldnt get tired of them. To my surprise they are absolutely PERFECT. I have a relatively high + prescription with a are significant difference in each eye . Whenever I order prescription lenses I run the risk of them being a little on the thick side. Before I received them I prepared myself for potential disappointment because of my prescription type and because I didnt have my pd number from an eye exam. I just received my glasses today and theyre great! They look exactly the same through them as my regular glasses, plus the tint obviously. I honestly was not at all prepared for them to be that spot on! Theyre great!
