Ray-Ban RB4171 Erika Sunglasses

This is the first time I bought prescription glasses online and I am absolutely delighted. I wear varifocals which aren't always easy to get right in a different frame. However these are just the best! I will need to pop into an opticians to get them slightly adjust to my head/ears but apart from that I'm so happy. They even graduated the tint the same as the original lenses in my Ray-Bans. Highly recommend.

I’ve been wearing mine for years. I actually own a few pairs. If the original ray ban aviators look stupid on you, try these! They don’t have that long dip shape that looks awkward on many face shapes. These are more rounded and symmetrical, but still decidedly aviator shape. These are plastic, but I prefer that because my hair doesn’t get stuck in the handles, the nose pieces don’t irritate my skin. Mostly, these are the most lightweight sunglasses I have ever worn. I am migraine prone and especially while driving, a heavy pair of sunglasses will drive me insane. These are near weightless.

Currently on my 4th pair of these sunglasses. They look very cute and go with everything. Fit lots of different face shapes as well. My only issue is that they scratch INCREDIBLY easily. I put them in their case every second that I’m not wearing them (and I never drop them) and yet somehow they are scratched enough that I need to buy another pair, UGH!

These are the frames that stop others to stop me and ask: “do you know the style name of your RayBans?”…I have this frame style in 5 colors…I think it’s one of the most versatile frame shapes RayBan offers as it looks good on most everyone regardless of face shape, age or complexion.. The comfort of these frames is good with the nose pieces not being separate parts, instead they are molded part of the actual frame. Therefore, NO DENTS OR RUB MARKS ON NOSE SIDES!!!! I own many RayBan frame styles, but Erica is my favorite.

Best Sunglasses EVER

I had a pair like this and broke them. To my delight John Lewis had the same pair,. The sunglasses are the best I have ever had - lightweight, comfortable, don't slip down my nose (even when covered in sun cream) and have a coating that really cuts the glare. Used when driving in very bright European sun and reading on the beach and they were brilliant. I have a smallish face but they really suit me, not swamping my face.. Would definitely recommend.

Erika's Forever

These are exactly what I wanted! A couple of years ago I purchased almost these exact same glasses, but got the glossy frames instead. I just happened to lose them in the lake a few weekends back and ordered these new ones straight from the Ray-Ban website. I finally have the matte frames I wanted originally and I still love the style and look. They're so comfortable and I can see fish pretty clearly fairly far down in the water with the polarized lenses. I might find another pair of sunglasses I like in the future, but for the last 5 years, these have been the best! I imagine I'll continue to buy them if they break or I lose them again.

My SECOND Pair of These!

I bought a pair of these from another retailer about two years ago. They instantly became my favorite sunglasses ever. I loved them so much, and others loved them so much, that I also bought a pair for my sister. Recently, my glasses were stolen from my car and I instantly headed to REI to replace them. I bought mine in the matte brown tortishell color, just like the first pair. I love that the matte finish is a little more unique, as most sunglasses have a shiny frame. The shape is flattering on almost any face (I have let people try them on, and have seen other people out and about with them on occasion), and is perfect for everyday use. The sun protection is excellent, but I can still see through the glasses with no weird color issues. The fit is perfect, just tight enough to stay on my head with light activity (hiking, driving, kayaking) but without giving me a headache. I hardly ever even notice they are there honestly. They are that comfy. This is also aided, in my opinion, by the narrow temple pieces that do not squeeze my head. They come with a case and cleaning cloth, and the case has one hard side to protect the lenses. If for some reason something happens to these glasses (I lose them or break them somehow), I will definitely buy another pair. Hopefully I can keep these ones forever though!

On My second pair!

I just bought another pair of these polarized sunglasses. They are very classy. My first one lasted for three+ yrs and I somehow spilled hand sanitizer on it which resulted in coating coming off a bit, but no complaints.. I got good use out of my first pair. I have other polarized sunglasses too but somehow I always pick these up for daily use. Very comfortable and stylish in a classy way.

They are OK

My boss had this style and I LOVED them. I tried to buy them off her for months before I just bought my own pair. I initially purchased them from Macy's. They had the matte frames, not polarized but totally worth it for the style. Someone stole my glasses while our office was under construction so I had to buy them AGAIN directly from RayBan. I am not the person who buys sunglasses but I was just in love with these. I received the glasses and sadly, they were not matte. I reached out to RayBan and they said I could return and reorder... But there is still.. No matte. Pretty disappointed as the style is still nice for my face and I love the glasses but the frames NOT matted seem cheesy and cheap. Very Modern Look, Love them.

I love these sunglasses. I have been wearing Wayfarers for years and saw these on someone out and about and thought they looked so modern. I ordered them and love them, extremely flattering on my narrower face, amazingly lightweight and comfortable to wear, and a great look.
