Really unhappy with these sunglasses. I initially was trying to find non-polarized lenses because I can’t wear them at work, but finally gave up. I love these frames, but the lens choices for them are awful. All dull/drab colors the gradients are horrible and if you change where your head is pointed it completely changes how you’re viewing things. They’re also barely tinted and don’t protect your eyes well at all in direct, bright, sunlight. If these were customizable they’d probably be the best looking sunglasses on the market, but with only 4 lens choices and only 2 per frame color they’re just incredibly disappointing, especially for the price.

I bought these glasses about a month or two ago. I got the silver flash lenses. The look is nice, but I am disappointed in the quality of the materials. Back 5-6 years ago I bought some ray bans that actually had metal frames and glass lenses. I had the sunglasses for years without a scratch, that’s why I chose to get another pair. I am not sure what the frames are made of but it is not metal. The lenses are light, but not glass. They fell off my head once and there are scratches on the lenses that block my view. Now I have to buy a new set of lenses and will have to baby them to keep them nice enough to wear. Not sure if I will buy ray ban again. Will have to find a company that uses materials that will last me longer than a month.

These prescription sun glasses have a great tint and give me clear vision on suny days and I use them on cloudy days as well with good results. I had to adjust the nose pads and the arms to customize the fit but that is to be expected, just follow the instructions included so they fit behind the ear and don singleqoute t slip forward. The original non-presc. lenses were also enclosed with glasses. Sale price on same glasses locally was $200.00 more.

They look ok, and I do like the polarized gradient brown lens, which are ideal for driving. Build quality however is a huge letdown. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to install springs next to the screws that allow temples to swing outwards. What this means is that these sunglasses fit very loosely and feel like they gonna fall off every time you nod your head, making them useless for any activity other than driving or sitting by the pool looking up, cuz the moment you look down, they will slip right off. Ironically I bought another pair for same price, RB4190, they are rock solid quality, fit perfectly and look great, and yes, unlike RB3498, they are made in Italy.
I really like these sunglasses, probably my current favorite pair. They are solid and feel good for long periods of time. Not too heavy and not to light in my opinion. The tint is perfect for all day driving. I also wear them outside during walks, hiking or any other outdoor activities, they fit snug but not tightly. Very comfortable with no pinching on the sides of the head or nose. They are good quality and well made and a steal during current sales. They also come with a functional case. I like them so much I am debating picking up a second pair just in case. I highly recommend these sunglasses.
Made in China, but the quality is undisputable. Everything tight, no crooks or clangs, perfect fit!My optician put prescription lenses in them with matching tint and flash ruby mirror coating, which made them my favorite sunglasses so far.
I really didnt like these as much as i thought i would. They looked great until i got out in the sun with them on and they just didnt seem to provide as much uv protection as my old sunglasses. I ended up keeping them to strictly wear for fishing due to them being polarized, I didnt want to send them back because they were good quality at a great price but i would not buy again if i knew about their limited sun protection
It wasn’t really what I was hoping for. I had these pair glasses before and this is not the same they don’t fit my lens that I have prescription for. I ordered direct from Ray-Ban my name is Aldo Hernandez look up in your archives and see that I purchased his para glasses prior to it I couldn’t find a way to exchange or return these pair that I have so anything you can help it’s appreciate it
My previous set of Ray-bans were glass lens non prescription. Had them for about 10 years. They were amazing and the only reason I needed to replace them is because my kids ended up stepping on them and bending the frames. I tried replacing them with the pair above but the nose piece on the first pair had a burr that dug into my nose. They sent me a new pair free and quick, which was nice, but the replacement had the same issue. My old pair was made in Italy but this pair was made in China. Maybe that's the problem? Not sure but for the money, I can do better. Sorry Ray-ban but you've lost a longtime customer.
I bought a pair of these sunglasses years ago. As a result of wear and tear, the lenses got scratched and I could not find the original brown lenses. The frame is still in good shape. I decided to buy another pair. I love these glasses. The price is affordable compared to other vendors.
