I got my first set of Raycons around 2019, had them for 3 years and loved everything about them. At the end of last year I decided to get a new pair, because the rubber in-ear piece began to tear and sadly you can’t buy any replacements.I received the new pair and was excited about the new features and design. The new box with the USB C charging port and the charging lights are great! The new operation order (number of button clicks) for pause, volume control and next song were confusing at first, since I had just switched from the old model. I thought I would get used to it, it's been 3 months and I still find it confusing and very impractical for my use. It's a shame I can't change it up myself in an app or some other way. But it's something I can live ... MoreI got my first set of Raycons around 2019, had them for 3 years and loved everything about them. But it's something I can live with. What I find disappointing is the new sizes of rubber attachments. Previously Raycon offered a variety of sizes, which is why I loved them so much. Since my ears are small, most earbuds and in-ear headphones feel uncomfortable. However the new attachments have different sizes. The very small ones are gone and the variety of smaller sizes has decreased. With this change I tried two different sizes: the second smallest size and the smallest size. And it turned out that the second smallest size was too big, so the earbuds kept sliding out. And the smallest size, which I currently use, feels too small and therefore doesn't offer the best sound experience.Overall I still like the Raycons, but if the sizes don't receive an upgrade with a new model, I will unfortunately have to look into other earbud models. So if you liked the old model and are looking to upgrade, keep this in mind.

As someone that purchased 4 sets of earbuds and 2 sets of headphones, I can say with confidence that ALL Raycon earbuds should be avoided. On paper everything is great, but their earbuds are clearly made from the cheapest materials you could find, borderline a marketing scam.-Battery life is an absolute and outright LIE.They will stop holding their advertised charges within a couple of weeks at best.- Every single pair of earbuds had it's flimsy paintjob peeling within literal days of use.- either the cases they make are broken or the earbuds themselves, because you should expect at least 1 earbud to stop being able to pull even 1/3 of the promised battery life withing 2 weeks.- Customer service is a joke, It's hidden and designed to discourage customers from ... I ordered 2 pairs of Fitness earbuds for Raycon’s Black Friday deal. It took Over 8 weeks to get the correct color (and in the end they only replaced 1 correctly). And for Raycon to be accountable for the product they advertised and for , and for what they were trying to give me was like pulling teeth. Customer service was a nightmare to work with. Very slow to get back with me and he kept trying to push me off. Like he was trying to wear me down to just give up on my end goal. (To get the product they advertised for the price listed on Black Friday). I was able to replace the product with customer service assuring me that I would be receiving the purple Fitness earbuds… they sent me pink… had to deal with customer service again, they had me keep the pink and only ... I was able to replace the product with customer service assuring me that I would be receiving the purple Fitness earbuds… they sent me pink… had to deal with customer service again, they had me keep the pink and only sent 1 purple ear bud. The purple one works decently, it glitches when trying to connect, or the touch taps do not register all the time. But the purple are better than the pinks… not sure why. The sound is good, but the awareness mode lacks considerably compared to Apple’s AirPod pro’s.For some reason The pink ear bud’s that were sent to me to replace the blue & red buds, the touch taps almost never registers. They are a pain to connect, and once they are connected, it’s a pain to get them to disconnect from my Bluetooth. The old versions are better with the click sides. Overall, I do not recommend Raycon’s, their quality and customer service has really tanked .

Like many potential customers, I came here on the good word of Arlo, whose opinions I trust. But what in the heck is with the sound quality of these headphones? They are *bad.* The audio quality is murky, with popping plosives and tearing sibilances. It makes them very poor for listening to music, and only somewhat good for podcasting, regardless of what audio setting preset I use.The audio quality being this poor does not justify the price, even after discounts. They should be more like 40-50 dollars, not 60-80. Awareness mode, too, required for my job at a loud factory, drains the battery enough that the earphones do not last the whole shift otherwise. I find this to be unacceptable when your marketing copy says they last "at least eight hours of uninterrupted listening, with more if the headphones are on their standby mode."Now here's the parts I did like that are why this is not a 1-star review:When working as intended, the headphones do last more than the length of my shift, and I charge them and keep them in my car for fear of losing them. They fit nicely in the compartment under the dashboard, where they are somewhat protected from the elements. I like the magnetic clips in the box that help me keep them in place. I like the earbud functionality that lets me adjust volume and whatnot without having to poke at my phone, something I have to often do on account of the uncomfortable sound quality. In conclusion, these things are not worth the price, but could hopefully be improved with some work on the audio components. But I am disappointed enough that I am willing to say so, and this review is only two stars instead of one because of the things I mentioned above. I
I bought these to replace my old bluetooth headphones after they stopped functioning, the apple airpod pros. I went into purchasing these knowing that obviously they weren’t going to be of the same quality at a much cheaper price point, however, the audio quality is really not that great even for the lower than average price. all audio settings sound very tinny and somewhat muffled especially when it comes to anything that isn’t music. I will mention that the bass is pretty good but the overall audio quality is not; would definitely not recommend these for an audiophile. Another failing point is the range. You can’t really go more than 3 meters away from your device without some audio cutting out or some latency. around 6 meters away and the audio completely cuts ...
