Bought this when it first came out. Had to enter the WiFi code a few times but once connected it has worked very well. Make sure to choose your setting for your current usage, inland, coastal etc. there is a difference. They also offer software updates on occasion. I find this radar to be well with the money and it will get you home safely even in dense fog. The CHIRP radar also is nice since it is safer to operate close to the body which is important on small boats or where the radome must be positioned near the operator.

I mounted this on my 25' CC. So far it is pretty impressive. There is excellent detail and was easy to set-up/install. I used this all day on a recent trip in a fog bank that lasted all day. Paid for itself in one trip... I just hope they update the software to allow a "bird" mode.

I know the manufacturer says it doesn't fit the multi function tailgate but that is because their answer is based on the truck having the factor corner bracing, rightonbracket.com has brackets that can replace the factory bracing (its under specialty products) and the cover is able to fit after you change them out! there is also a video on youtube of someone installing it with a MFT. Took about an hour to install on my own, I put the box that it came in on the bed of my truck then put the canister on top of that, dropped it in after I put on the rails. Instructions were good and initial product quality is very good, happy with it so far!

I really like the fit of this cover. It was easy to install in about a half an hour. It took longer to center and square it than it did to put it together and put it in. I highly recommend re-centering it after driving a few miles. Mine seemed to shift a little and actually center itself better after a couple of days. The instructions were right and it is easier to open and close after the two weeks I've had it. I really like it!
I will be honest I just purchased a new Dodge 2500 2018 version - I know it is 2020 now but it was the best deal at the time. I was a bit hesitant and watched several videos and downloaded the instructions to see what I was getting myself into. I found this cover on Home Essentials Direct and figured I should enjoy it as long as I owned the truck. The cover is good quality but the canister housing is plastic on the ends - fr the money I think they should be metal. The install was not really difficult and we measured and remeasured the gap distances. The cover was a bit jerky on the first run and did work just fine - I will let it sit and break in a few days then possibly wax the rails as they recommend. Overall the quality is good - I am not sure I would pay $2,000 ... MoreI will be honest I just purchased a new Dodge 2500 2018 version - I know it is 2020 now but it was the best deal at the time. Also, the LED light is a nice addition to my other bed lights.
Well made, very comfortable, durable, neoprene on the collar keeps from rubbing your neck, armed for 5 years. This will not expand unless its submerged for 4 seconds, no spray or rain will cause it to activate.
I run a charter boat 30 to 60 miles offshore every day. August and September there is almost always fog somewhere on our route. Chirp radar allows me to see birds flying 2 miles away and boats and other targets right in front of me. It has a bluetooth connection but we have chosen to hard wire it (yes that is an option). It was super simple to install and set up and has run flawlessly for me. I'm a big fan.
If I had to do it again I would not have purchased this radar dome. Mine would not connect to the MFD via wifi and this was AFTER it was installed 22 feet up the mast. TEST IT BEFORE YOU INSTALL! I had to go get it and bring it for exchange. Thank God I had the 2nd one bench tested as it had the same problem. Raymarine tech support is clueless on this problem. The wifi works, I can connect to it from my iPhone, but not MFD to radar. I suspect it's a software issue. And this device lacks a wired option at all, so it can't be upgraded if the wifi doesn't work. It would make a great door stop. One tip if you do need to mount it is that you can run a line through the place where the cables are supposed to go and put the turn-able guard in place to keep the line on.
The RETraxONE XR is a great bed cover. It was easy to install (about 30-minutes while watching an installation walkthrough on my tablet), and it works great. I love that it can lock in any position, and I can mount stuff over the top of the bed. It keeps most of the water out (I live in Seattle and have only had a few drops get in around the corners, which could be coming through the tail gate). The cartridge takes up some bed space and the drain tubes are a bit flimsy, but I’ve had no issues over all. Smaller items can slid under the cartridge (there is about 6-8” of space under the cartridge).
I already had a old raymarine radar, so everything lined up to bolt up the antenna. I used the data cable and of course the power cable. They were hooked up to raymarine 98a and 128a, when powered up everything was recognized .
