I love the ability to be able to switch from my gaming PC to my phone bluetooth in a second, maybe two and then boom I am on the go or on a phone call ect.The noise canceling on these is very impressive, it sits very comfortably on my head and snug to my ears without hurting. Using on PS5. These headphones provide good audio and are very comfortable to wear. Anyone whose into the audio scene knows that wireless mics and especially wireless in built mics can be a bit of a problem, but I play with an air con and fan going on low and my friends say they can’t hear either of them and I’m never asked to clarify what I say. I’ve listened to some recordings and while it’s not the best audio it’s good for being what it is, a wireless in build mic! Honestly the biggest benefit to this though is the wireless receiver and comfort! Having a cord plugged into a controller or switch is a real pain and the wireless features and comfort work really well and make this worth the buy!

I've only used these for 30 days, so not sure on long term durability.I bought these at the same time I bought Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen2 Max.These aren't built as well as the Turtle Beach headset, and they also don't isolate you from environmental noise as well, but they are half the price, so I don't expect it.They do have lower clamping force than the Turtle Beach headset, and are comfortable for 4-5 hours - I haven't worn them longer so maybe they won't be as comfortable for long periods. They are more comfortable than the Turtle Beach for the period I have worn them. Apparently I have a big head so the TB headphones exert considerable pressure. I think the TB will hold up better over longer term. I'll be able to test it since I have both.

I got this headset as a gift from a close friend and its just given my problems. First off i set it all up read see what i have to do. I download the app and it doesn’t recognize it so i go to support and all of that. after a day and a half plugging everything in and out in different plugs this and that i finally get it working and i’ve only had small problems of like small glitches and cut outs then after a few more days i noticed it was louder then the previous time i used it then i noticed one day it would be louder then 5 minutes later switch. thats where i am now it won’t connect to my pc after i unplugged replug, uninstalled to reinstall just for it to not work. i hope razer support will at least be able to replace it and it really is just defective.

IMO start a headset with good sound capability and then build in the features from there.I currently have the Hyper X Cloud II, Steelseries Artic 1 Wireless, Philips M9500, AKG Y50, Logitech G332. While I have had a charging issue with the Artic 1, overall it had more volume capability and bass then the Barracuda X Plus. The Barracuda had good mid range but bass was lacking, which with the lack of volume made some music and gaming unimpactful.All this was running Windows 10 and without the Razer's 7.1 Surround installed. So I installed the software and hoped it would fix some of the issues. Nope. Their Surround needs a lot of work. I tried it in Fortnite with and without the software active. With the software actiive, there was too much focus on forward sounds with the software dramatically increasing noise directly in front of you regardless of distance and muting periphial noise. What do I mean by that? If you had some nearer to you on your sides or rear yet someone was directly in front of you but much further out, the software would focus on the noise more that was in front of you making it frustrating to play with if you like most players use noise to pinpoint locations. Chests in Fortnite were brutal to be around with the software up. It overrode and increased the impact of the chests sounds to the point it was really hard to justify going to loot them. The headset performed better without the software active.If I had a choice between the Barracuda or the Artic 1 strictly based on sound quallity, I would choose the Artic 1. I regret purchasing these and think I should have waited for stock to arrive on the Hyper X Cloud Wireless headset.
Bought the Barracuda X for my son.They sound great and he was loving them but the swivel for the earpieces are plastic and the left one broke at the weak point.I've tried jumping through Razer's hoops to get warranty but it seems like it's just a game to make sure you don't ever get a replacement.I've emailed over 10 times on the same case number and they give instructions saying you need to reply with " i approve" so they can then forward your case to someone who can take it further. I do so...and then a couple days later i get an email that says they haven't heard from me and they are closing the case. the open it again after i complain and they do the same thing over again.I'm super disapointed with Razer. Buy something else.

I knew this wasn't normal bc my bf has the same headset but in black. It was also very staticky and laggy during game play at times so I returned for an exchange. After a week went by I had to return to the store because they told me they couldn't ship it to my house. I went and picked it up, immediately went home and started unboxing it. I plugged everything in and was starting up my game.. I heard noise for 2 seconds then static in one speaker and then absolutely nothing. I was so upset.
