Performance:Make me deaf , good and comfortableQuality:Not so much, easily damaged if not handled with careThe product design for head extension, "a thin metal connection", connecting its earpad and the top part . Make the wearer must always vigilant, can easily snap if not careful.And the product activation code located at the ear pad, need to remove the padding first, not friendly user .You need a specialized tool, a plastic thingy to separate the ear padding. If don't have it, the product can easily damaged (The product not provide any tools)Until now I can't open the ear padding for activation code, afraid of damaged it further .

Amazing color, lightweight, at an affordable price

After using the Razer - BlackShark V2 Se for awhile my kids have come quite accustom to this headset.. Pros: -Love the color of the headset, the black pairs quite well with the green, the sound (both playback and record [headset and mic]) are quite good. - THX Spatial Audio also works quite well once you can seem to get it working with the headset. It has better Discord compatibility than with any other HyperX headset. I love that it is quite light feeling when it is sitting on your head and is actually very comfortable. The headset is also fairly affordable and well worth it, as it is quite the bang for the buck. Synapse makes getting the headset working, if at all at moments very very finicky. Sometimes the headset when plugged in seems to work off of the Razer Sound Card audio source in Windows. Other times the headset will work off of the THX Spatial Audio audio source. Due to the Synapse, you never know which one it is going to be until you plug it in. Another problem I noticed is the Microphone doesn't always seem to work when you are speaking into it, especially if you have it plugged into a gaming source such as a Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Ps4, etc. My Final thoughts on this headset are as follow: Those that are quite tech savvy should be find since they should be able to get Razer's Synapse's to play nicely with them long enough to keep this headset working consistently. Therefore, those who work quite well with tech this most definitely would be an amazing buy. As for anyone who is not technologically inclined or at least educated in tech I would not recommend this headset,, as the Synapse could quite possibly give you a major headache as well as a lot of uneccesary frustration.

Better than the Kraken X

These headphones are a clear step-up from the Kraken X - more like the Caca X considering their pathetically weak plastic headphone bands. I've only used these for less than a few hours and I can already hear and feel a distinct superiority over the Kraken X. Now whether they're durable, especially with the dubiously looking bands which now appears to look like the Razer logo, is another question, but if you don't see another review by me then rest assured they haven't broke, least within 27 days like the Kraken X's.Onto actual features of the headphones, the 7.1 surround system is neat but a gimmick and shouldn't be a driving force towards buying these unless you're into regular gaming which requires precise location identification - like multiplayer CS:GO for an ... MoreThese headphones are a clear step-up from the Kraken X - more like the Caca X considering their pathetically weak plastic headphone bands. If you are like me and spend more time listening to music or browsing YouTube then doing competitive matches, the 7.1 surround system is cool but is certainly not a selling point. Like the Kraken X's, they have a splitter cable so if you have an older PC, you can still access the headphone's microphone and audio fine. They also come with a black Razer pouch, which though is cool, is ultimately useless.The overall design is pretty cool and the common praise of its comfortableness is founded - it is very comfy, even more so than the Kraken X's, which itself is already quite comfortable. It's important to note that the Razer headphone bands are independent to one another, so you'll have to try and balance them out yourself, which is an extremely minor inconvenience.One negative I have is its lack of transparency in regards to getting the serial code, which is the only way you can gain access to the 7.1 surround system feature. There are little to no tutorials online or by Razer themselves, so I did it the hard way and solved everything by trial and error. They are surprisingly easy to remove - just gently lift the ear cushions up with a flathead screw-driver and then rotate it as you would with a tap and it's out. Putting it back on is a lot more difficult though - you have to slowly mend the plastic rubber found on the inside of the ear cushion and ease its way back into the small crevice. It'll make a lot more sense when you actually do it, trust me, but it is a bit of a pain.Overall, I am very happy with these headphones even if they're a bit annoying and gimmicky. Just remember that they are NOT like the V2's - I've made some minor but nonetheless annoying scratches on mine trying to hear the seven clicks by jamming the screwdriver in various different areas only to realize it was already loose, which was then when I realized the removal and implementation of the ear cushions are vastly different between the V2 and V2 X. Luckily they're minor, the black scheme covers it mostly and I'm not planning to sell it, but it's notable enough to mention anyway.

Good product but tricky

Very soft and cushiony, super lightweight.Only issue I had was the extensive setup up for the 7.1 surround sound feature, although sounding a bit better than Windows spatial sonic setting it was a bit anticlimactic for the outcome after 30 minutes of attempts; quality product though!! lacks easy support for issues like mine though.-- updateIve tried my best to take good care of it and its wires so they arent twisted but it started making static sounds maybe a few weeks after usage? I cant remember but its a bit of a let down. They are still very comfortable though.

Legally cant be sold to less than 13 year olds.

What it didnt say is that getting any bass or THX to work requires the user to create a "Razer account" whereby the personal data is sent to Hong Kong.The customer care has no clue about European laws on data protection, especially minors.The "Data Protection Office" cant explain why I need to send data to Hong Kong to be able to get some decent bass or surround sound as advertised. Their terms also allow them to send personal data to 3rd parties. They are probably intentionally avoiding answering whether this headset can be sold to children. They say their terms must be accepted during software install, but avoid explaining how a child is expected to consent.This is a headset that cant be sold to minors, will need ... MoreBought this for my son.
