Sadly, I was brainwashed by online reviews or blogs talking trash on "RA ZER" products as they spend all their money on marketing and are cheap lower quality gaming items.I do have large hands (not big enough to palm a basketball) but every mouse felt too small which made my fingers and wrist cramp OR the mice were just big, awkward, overloaded with buttons, etc. I am naturally a palm grip style gamer but I do like a lightweight mouse because with CSGO long entire arm movements are key to becoming a great player... After trying all these different mice I decide to settle on a Logi tech G305 Hero wireless mouse which I use a lithium ion battery along with a AA to AAA converter housing and then I drilled holes in the mouse to lighten it even more (and for a rainy day project)... It has been my go to mouse but its SO SMALL... I've gotten really good at using it but I saw randomly on Best Buy's website the Razer Deat hAdder Elite dropped in price to ~$45. I LOVE my wireless Logitech HERO sensors but this mouse has been around for a decade or so... I figured for $45 plus a $5 three year replacement plan I had to try out this mouse and RAZE R products...WOW!!!!! This mouse instantly fits the contours of your hand, perfect size even for LARGE hands yet still very lightweight feeling! It does not have 16 programmable buttons but a true FPS gamer does not need any extra BS, I would be happy if it didn't light up but it's whatever... Anyways, after a solid 7 hours of gaming non stop my movements and shots are NUTTY! Yeah its wired but it's SO MECHANICAL feeling and the buttons are "crisp"!I was concerned about the reviews and people ranting about how the Razer Synapse software dramatically slows down your machine and runs tons of unnecessary processes in the background... When you install the software they give you OR try to get you to install around 6 different programs when you can disable them and install the basic software, EASY! Then, disable Razer from auto-starting when you boot and even exit the synapse program totally and the mouse works flawlessly!I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS ON ANYTHING BUT DANG THIS MOUSE IS WORTH $200-300 IMO it's actually priceless the way it fits the hand and performs! Do yourself a favor a snag at this price!

The braided cord is 7 ft in length and incredibly light, flexible and it doesn't snag or drag like a rubber corded mouse. It is designed for a right handed gamer with a medium sized hand, with a much lighter and lower profile than the Logitech G700s wireless gaming mouse I have been using for years. The arch on the mouse could be a bit taller for my hand grip, but for the most part size it is fine and fits well. It seems to be comfortable when using for long gaming sessions, absolutely no hand fatigue, but can be slightly sweaty. It glides very smooth over the xtrac-ripper mouse pad. The two thumb buttons are easy to reach with a solid click you won't accidentally trigger. The primary button switch on the left has a more springy feel and the click is a bit more louder than the button on the right. The scroll wheel is textured rubber with RGB lighting on the side with notched scroll only, when pressed it is just a bit spongy. I think two more thumb buttons on the mouse and an option for smooth scroll would have been a nice feature to have. It is a perfect mid price range gaming mouse for FPS (frames per minute) casual or RTS (real time strategy) games, but might lack the keys for macro heavy games. Overall the Razor Deathadder Elite Gaming Mouse holds up to it's name and performs as described.

Mouse was great like any new mouse at first. Then Razer drivers automatically installed itself one day and issues began.Uninstalled and removed Razer drivers and they randomly downloaded itself again.Watch the news and learn there is a huge exploit in Razers drivers and firmware leading to security vulnerabilities. You have to use regedit just to disable Razer automatic downloads! After doing all that, the left click failed because of a known design issue. This is a disposable mouse.. It advertises nice specs but none of that matters. I guess it's like how some cellphones have 108 MEGAPIXEL CAMERAS but still cant beat an iphones 12MP camera (smh)Never, Razer, Again.

The Razer Deathadder Elite is a mouse for gamers, and it has many features that are useful. The mouse has good response time, and is comfortable to grip and use for long hours. The mouse allows customization when you pair it with the Razor Synapse application. This application allows full and detailed customization over the functions of the keys. This application also can pair up with other Razor products such as a keyboard, albeit the customization varies from product to product, but still retain similar features like lights and rebind ability. However as this product is a mouse it has limited lighting effects and lacks many of the neat features that a keyboard has in store. You can have lots of profiles that can be active when you are running certain applications. For an example you could have a profile only be active when you run your preferred web browser and have another profile active with other programs. Unfortunately you cannot have one profile linked to many different profiles, but you can have copy a profile with all its settings. In each profile you can customize the bindings of the different mouse buttons and set the DPI in each profile. You could have a profile for an FPS game @800 DPI, and a profile for a web browser @1200 DPI. You can also rebind the (default) DPI buttons to something such as changing the computer’s system volume. Not only is there profiles, but some applications may have a Razor Synapse addon which is activated by default when that program is running, a good example is Overwatch which has a custom addon that runs when Overwatch is active and changes the color of the mouse’s glow according the hero you are playing. The mouse has a comfortable place for you to put your thumb while gaming and has large (but flat) Mouse Button 4 and 5.Overall this product is of a good quality and the Synapse application is useful for having customized key binding for each profile, however is not as good as customizing the keyboard.
I just love this mouse.Pros- Ergonomics. Fantastic shape for my hands. It literally made my arm feel better using it vs the logitech I was using before, this one lets my hand lay flatter vs the logitech which had a hump. Hand size matters, might be to big for people with smaller hands, but it's great for me. I threw out 2 other mice I had because this one is so great. Ergonomics-wise, this is the best mouse I've ever used.- Clicks and movements are sharp and predictable. It's just feels really solid. It's not exactly a "problem" with other mice but this guy is really refined.- Side buttons are fantastic as well, just the right size, shape, placement, etc.- Scroll wheel feels great. I accidentally used an older mouse I had and remembered that it's easy to get them wrong. This guy has it right.Cons- It's hard to use as a work mouse, because while I can get the lights in the mouse to turn off while using it, when I lock the computer they come back on and it looks silly to be at work with a mouse rotating through pink, green, etc. Perhaps because of the lack of onboard memory?- There's no wireless version that I could use at work. The Lancer is a different smaller mouse. The mamba is the same size and shape but it requires a large docking station for wireless functionality, whereas I need it to use a tiny usb wireless adapter instead.Still gave it 5/5 stars because it's so great to have such a well functioning ergonomic mouse available, but I'm thinking of buying a logitech 903 for use at work because of the cons I mentioned above.
I would never recommend another razer mouse again. I’ve bought several because I like the simplicity of the design and feel in the hand but 2 out of 2 that I’ve bought ended up having the same problem. While gaming the scroll wheel will be activated while left clicking (shooting in FPS games). Scroll wheel is traditionally and best used as a weapon swapped in games. What has ends up happening is when your in a fight left clicking to shoot it will end up swapping your weapon mid fight. So instead of shooting your opponent you switch weapons and get killed while the switch weapon animation happens. It’s been a great mouse minus this issue and if you’re not gaming then fine. When I brought the issue up to their support they told me that I had to send them a video of the problem happening or they couldn’t issue a refund or replacement. Razer is dead to me and I highly recommend you save your self the frustration.
Pros--Well made-Adjustable DPI, 2 side buttons-Mouse clicks feel goodCons--The terrible software bundle included outweighs the pros so heavily I cannot recommend or continue to use this product. This mouse had potential, until the splash screens and updates starting coming. I would start by saying it seems well made; good weight/feel, button clicks feel nice, and a good length braided cord. Now before I start complaining about their software, I understand if you want fancy lighting and customizable buttons, etc, then there needs to be software and support for it. I only took the basic software installation despite 5-8 add-ons offered during setup and set the DPI stages I wanted. I only took the basic software installation despite 5-8 add-ons offered during setup and set the DPI stages I wanted. Almost immediately my fullscreen game was interrupted for Razer Central to open, so I turned off all notifications and options to bother me and went back to it. Since then, I've lost track of the times the splash screen has popped up, or I've been asked to update. I've unchecked the box to have it launch on startup and disabled them in task manager/services, yet here it is running 4 processes, taking up 94.3MB of memory (for comparison Spotify streaming hi-quality uses 80.6MB).This is a mouse.... the software should be set it and forget it. Previous mice nor the Wacom drawing tablet I use have once harassed me in this way. Ultimately, I will be switching to another brand in hopes of avoiding this bloated software.
I have had this mouse for a year now and it still works perfectly. I bought this to replace my Razer Naga of 3 years and it has delivered on every aspect. It is at a reasonable price (I bought mine on sale for $50 from its original $70 price tag). It is incredibly comfortable. I tend to grip my mouse with a hybrid grip and I can game for 4+ hours before I even start to feel any sort of tiring. The cable has plenty of length, sometimes a little too much, but it's nothing a little zip/bread tie can't fix. The elite also comes with the chroma lighting so you can adjust all the RGB settings on the mouse. As for performance, the mouse delivers incredibly no arguments. The sensor on the deathadder is accurate and with a huge DPI range of 16,000, it will handle whatever settings you prefer with presets you can customize for the games you play. The mouse moves smooth without catching/sticking on the mouse pad. The two thumb buttons are the perfect size; you won't ever have to worry about clicking the wrong thumb button even in fast paced games. The scroll wheel doesn't have a tilt option but I found that it doesn't matter for shooters such as battlefield, COD, Destiny 2, etc.Overall, I would say that this mouse is the perfect package for anyone looking for a comfortable and simple mouse for shooters at a extremely great price range. If you're on the fence about this mouse, I recommend picking it up, because you'll absolutely fall in love with it.
I really like this mouse and happy I purchased it. I had an older deathadder model that ended up with sticky mouse buttons and the lighting never worked for me (I didn't care for the green base). When it finally broke completely I had to get another and I was really hesitant to get a similar model. It was on sale so I said ok...I'm glad I did, lots of improvements to this model.1. build quality is much better. I've dropped this on hard floors a number of times and I get super worried every time but it's held up very well and just keeps going.2. Lighting with razor synapse allows a lot of color variations and custom settings to blink, pulse, ect. I got mine to sync very nicely with my keyboard and back lighting which was cool.3. quick adjust dpi settings are so awesome. I can set it to super high for gaming, lower it for basic tasks like web browsing just by clicking the middle buttons. It's super easy vs other mice where you set it in "settings" and then have to change profiles constantly.4. cord doesn't get tangled at all. Not a big thing but I work on laptops and having this mobile usually corded mice get tangled on stuff. this doesn't, I like the quality actually.5. grips on the side are a huge plus for me. It just feels very natural and has a good grip. Also the scroll wheel also has notched grips which feels great imo.Overall, I don't have anything bad to say about it. It was a good price when I picked it up, quality is good, feel and functionality has been great.
When I bought it, it was okay. Nothing spectacular, I've had better mice in the past. But it was sufficient so I kept it.A few months in I notice that it "bounces". What I mean by that is the mouse pointer doesn't stay put while you try to left-click your selection. Then I notice it starts to drift left to right. Okay, I clean it up and check the drivers, check the settings, no difference can be made. Then a little bit after that the mouse pointer becomes difficult to pinpoint on my selections. I can't express how absolutely frustrating this is. It's like, as the mouse pointer approaches my selection, whether that's an x to close a page, or a cast bar in a game or an icon to open an application, it jumps over the target. I have to go reaaaaaaaallllly slow in ... MoreWhen I bought it, it was okay. Nothing spectacular, I've had better mice in the past. It's like, as the mouse pointer approaches my selection, whether that's an x to close a page, or a cast bar in a game or an icon to open an application, it jumps over the target. I have to go reaaaaaaaallllly slow in order to focus on the selection and finally left-click. So I uninstalled and then re-installed Razer Synapse, hoping that would fix things but it did not. I did some research on the net and found others with the same problem. Tried the solutions but nothing worked. As of this week I have stopped playing any games because this made it impossible to do so with any efficiency. I am waiting for some new mice, from another company, and then this is going in the garbage.
