The headphones started out looking good. The sound was decent and they had a decent feel. For $200, the Kraken V3 Pro has mediocre sound, outdated firmware, lacks bluetooth, long-ish USB A dongle, but interesting haptic motors for immersion. Not having bluetooth isn't a big deal because latency is a problem when you're gaming. There's a noteable lack of ANC but to be honest, I'm surprised any wireless headset -anything- has ANC for $200. Most ANCs I've heard in this price range are pretty bad, affect the sound characteristics, and don't block out all that well. It's honestly not a miss in my book. Needed to EQ the sound in the Synapse application and to be honest, the THX "feature" doesn't compare to Dolby Atmos. I toned down the low end by two db across the range, raised the mids a tiny bit, and brought down some of the highs as well. This balanced out ... I had high expectations for the Razer Kraken V3 Pro Hypersense headset, being a loyal Razer customer. Unfortunately, it fell far short of my expectations.Firstly, the battery life is incredibly poor. It struggles to last through even a moderate gaming session, and the charging time is excessively long.Secondly, the connectivity is unreliable. It often fails to connect seamlessly, requiring repeated attempts to establish a stable connection.Due to these issues, I've resorted to using my backup SteelSeries headset instead, relegating the Kraken V3 Pro Hypersense to a drawer.Overall, I cannot recommend this headset. It's simply not worth the investment given its subpar performance and reliability issues.

I wouldn't recommend this headset for 30 dollars let alone over 100. You can find something better for cheaper easily.
I purchased this headset in October of 2023, only 8 months ago. They have great spacial audio and the THX is amazing for movies and cinematic games. You have to turn off the bass boost for any kind of competitive game that relies on spacial audio. Today I put them on and the plastic part on the slider that holds the fake leather together at the ends completely blew apart. The right side lost a chunk and the left side has a nice crack. Upon researching the topic, I have found that this is common issue with this model, I assume due to poor quality of their plastic, of which the entire headset is made. I will update this review based on the warranty claim process, but for now I cannot recommend this headset. They are far too expensive to be built this cheap.

If you wear glasses however do not get these, buy apples earbuds or something else. I also didn’t end up using the features as much. Only when watching something like anime. All the over razor products are great, but these have a long ways to go to be up there.
i got these to replace my razer barracudas and was a huge upgrade. the headset is high quality material and doesnt fel;l like its going to break when stretched or anything like that. now the headseth is kinda heavy but you dont feel it oncew you put it on your head and ajust it, maybe its because of the 50mm drivers that are so big thats probably why and the earpads feel really comfortable but they dont sit like on my ears they actually are over the ear and dont get that ear compression like most headsets. but i gotta say one thing about these is the haptic feedback it is just next level, while watching a moview or anime it is just something else like i cant even compare it to other headsets and ive had both the astro a50s and the steelseries pro headsets and man ...
