2 years in, this is still my go to RGB mouse!

Comfortable lightweight mouse with beautiful RGB, I have it on the wave (rainbow) light setting and it is beautiful. I wish it was a bit bigger as I like to palm my mouse but that is a different model (deathadder) however the deathadder does not have the cool RGB. If you prefer a heavier mouse this is not the mouse for you. My next upgrade is a wireless mouse but this one is still going strong after nearly 2 years. Overall excellent mouse with beautiful RGB that has longevity. Purchased March 2020.

A great mouse for claw grip

But this one has a tilt feature on scroll wheel were the Death Adder doesnt. Plus the RGB light. Its definetly a right handed mouse. In terms of DPI it has an excellent range to 16000. And its been smooth. I tend to play RTS games like Total War series and this mouse has been fantastic. I paired it with a Razer Huntsmen TKL keyboard. If its a money crunch. This is my second Mamba Razer. I bought another one a couple of years ago that is going strong, and I bought this one for a new computer I'm building. It has really impressive RGB lighting and if you download free Razer software, you can totally customize it to whatever color, and strobe light effect you want. My only criticism of it, is without it, the mouse is SUPER sensitive, actually to the point that I had to substitute it out with a regular one for my work computer, since I don't have access to download to the software to adjust the sensitivity on it. I don't game, but if you do and need something ultra fast and sensitive, this is it for you. I really like the way the house feels and it grips easy and looks amazing. I would buy again.

Exceeded Expectations

I got this mouse as part of a larger deal of purchases, so I honestly didnt expect too much. I went and read reviews of this mouse on other websites and found that it was a pretty high rated piece of technology, so I was looking forward to using it.I am very impressed. I game on consoles, and have for my entire life, but wow I really think I may switch to PC gaming now that I have this mouse, it is really something to behold. It tracks perfectly on the uneven surface of my desk, and it can be completely customized using the Razer Synapse App you can download from their website. By that I mean that you can remap all of the buttons, set the DPI ranges, and pick the Chroma colors and patterns and all that. The responsiveness of the mouse, the buttons, the scroll ... MoreI got this mouse as part of a larger deal of purchases, so I honestly didnt expect too much. I've been using it for making maps in ArcMap and ArcPro this past week, and its been an absolute joy. I feel as though I have more control over exactly where my cursor is on the screen, and its made doing my daily work so much more enjoyable. It can be as simple as a plug and play mouse, or a fully customizable piece of a larger system. It's completely up to the user, and that is one of the best parts about this piece of tech. Honestly, I would even pay full price for this now that I know it exists. Having received it for free just makes it that much better.

Giant Waste of Money

I've now owned two of these mice and I strongly, strongly recommend anyone considering to buy this mouse, or any Razer product at all, to reconsider. Both times I've owned this mouse it's lasted barely a full year before major tracking inconsistencies started showing up and any attempts to fix these issues have yielded no solution. With both mice I cleaned the sensor, I tinkered with them on Razer Synapse, I tried updating every one of my PC's drivers, etc etc. Still, the Mamba continued to stop working and would freeze about 70% of the time I lifted it off the mouse pad. It would then take another 5 to 10 seconds of moving the mouse around to get the mouse to actually work. On top of this, even when the mouse isn't frozen, the mouse will randomly pull in different directions even when you're not moving the mouse at all. As I'm typing this my cursor is moving down the screen with no contact with the mouse at all. This happened with my first mouse, but I gave Razer the benefit of the doubt and purchased the same mouse a second time as I liked the feel of it and it was what I was used to. Again, the mouse worked fine for a little less than 12 months before it would freeze/stop tracking.Overall, I will never give a Razer product a second chance again, nor a first chance at all. Their products are nothing more than poorly put together plastic that costs $60+ because it has a Razer logo on it and changes colors. I'm disappointed and strongly do not recommend wasting your time, effort, and money on one of the worst tech brands on the market.

Great Mouse but Not my Favorite.

My second Razer mouse. My other mouse is a Lancehead TE. Between the two, I prefer the Lancehead. My biggest complaint with his mouse is the switch integrated into the mouse scroll wheel. With this switch, you are able to achieve the same effect as scrolling when you manipulate the switch to the left for right. This is an issue when pressing the mouse wheel. Good Razer quality though.

Great shape. Sensor is Fantastic!

The contours of the sides of the mouse are great for my big hands, which includes most grip styles, perhaps excluding 'claw' grip. Even with that, 'claw', or even 'hybrid', grip are manageable with it's super comfortable side grips. Also, by the good graces of someone who knew what they were doing, finally a mainstream mouse who's sensor doesn't cut into pieces on high-fidelity monitors. LOVE IT
6 March 2020

I've always loved the shape of the Mamba mice. My only complaint was generally the laser PTE (sensor would jump slightly when you lifted the mouse and put it back down). Now they are using the PMW 3389 which is Razer's version of the 3360 and arguably one of the best optical sensors out.I have always preferred wireless mice, but they have always had huge trade offs in the past such as being heavy, poor battery life, and connection issues. The hyperflux is really, really cool. Since the mouse has a capacitor instead of a battery, it's very light weight (96 grams) and never needs to be charged. The trade off here is that since it doesn't have a battery, you have to use it with the mouse mat so it can get power unless you want to plug in the USB cord for wired mode. ... MoreI've always loved the shape of the Mamba mice. The trade off here is that since it doesn't have a battery, you have to use it with the mouse mat so it can get power unless you want to plug in the USB cord for wired mode. For me it's a non-issue since I don't plan on travelling with it. Some people are complaining about the size of the mouse mat, but it's more than big enough for me as I typically use a steelseries qck pad (normal size) and this is bigger than that. The lowest DPI setting I use for FPS games is 800, so I'm not going to run out of mouse pad space, but your mileage may vary depending on what DPI you use.I have had zero lag with this thing and it never loses connection. Some reviews here say that you can't use it anywhere near anything metallic and I think that is a little overboard. It will probably have issues on all metal desk if it is sitting on top of metal, but my pull out keyboard tray has metal guide rails that are within a mm of the mouse pad and it has no issues with them at all. In fact, the majority of my desk is metal that is all in very close proximity to the mouse pad. Just make sure what the pad sits on is not metal and I'm sure you will be fine. For me this is pretty much the perfect mouse. It's expensive, but it combines the best of everything I am looking for with very few trade offs in my opinion. I hope they keep it up with this direction and sensor choice as it just an awesome experience from form to function.

No issues. Feels good to use. Clicks feel good. The wire is a nice and never feels like it pushes the mouse or otherwise gets in the way. Based on my experience so far, I think the 5/19/2022 price of $50 seems reasonable as well.I have yet to encounter any issue using this mouse in games or for work or general use. The mouse performed well in games such as CSGO, Age of Empires 2, Death Stranding, Hades, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Golf with Friends. The biggest, most pleasant surprise to me with this mouse is the faster mouse scrolling when you push the mouse wheel to the left or right (instead of just rolling the mouse wheel like with any mouse, which also works fine for this mouse). This wasn't a feature I was looking for, however I found that it makes any scrolling smoother and easier. This actually made playing a game with a more intense inventory such as Death Stranding quite a bit easier at times. If I had to mention a negative issue, I would say that after I wash my hand and then immediately use the mouse, there is a sort of slight condensation that builds up on the mouse. I had this same problem with a Red Dragon mouse and it's not much of an issue to me.

Razer performance good, durability questionable
4 October 2021

So far so good. My last mouse was a razer viper. Loved it, but then mouse button 4 (the closer of the two buttons on the sides) stopped working on the left side of the mouse. Still worked on the right, so the mouse is still good for lefties lol. I tested the mouse out on a button testing website and the button just stopped working. The one on the right worked, left did not. So this wasn’t software, this was hardware.I’ve only had this mouse for 3 days, so I can’t say whether it’s got durability, but I appreciate the feel. Little more rounded than Viper. So if you have smaller hands, go viper over this one, but I think they’ve got even smaller models.
