Razer Naga V2 Pro - Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse

This is an excellent mouse that easily gets 5 stars if not for the hefty $180 price tag. After owning and loving their first version of the Naga series, the Naga Trinity, I had a good feeling I'd like this one. Sure enough, Razer delivers yet another high quality ergonomic mouse. I've tried quite a few different brands and style mouses, and none fit my hand like the Nagas. I have a medium to large size hand, and use a palm grip. The ring finger rest is a great design and helps to maintain control of a rather heavy mouse over long gaming sessions. Between the 3 interchangeable side plates, the customizable hyperscroll pro wheel, wireless that actually works, and a high quality feel, this mouse is by far my favorite and well worth shelling out a few extra bucks. The new Razer Naga V2, in my opinion, is the only contender in the MMO/MOBA mouse space. I’ve tried every other 12-button mouse out there (yes, all of them) and none of them feel as comfortable as the Razer Naga. I’ve had my V1 Naga for a while and what tempted me the most was the new scroll wheel customization you can do now. Being able to finely tune the feeling of the scroll wheel from very gritty to completely smooth is amazing. Some of the buttons across all 3 plates have also been modified slightly and feel a lot nicer.My setup used to be my old V1 Naga for specific games and the much lighter Razer Deathadder as my primary mouse. Razer synapse is also a very easy-to-use software for your customization and macro needs.

Exceptional. Its a bit heavy because of the inbuilt battery but its really nice. It has the same hand-feel of a Logitech G600 but with interchangable side-plates, wireless capability (the reason I left Logitech to start with) and a better laser. Highly recommended. For productivity buffs, you can re-map the side buttons to anything you like as well. I use mine to do normal day-to-day office work like copy/paste/select/delete/return etc. For MMO's you can add all kinds of options to that. Same goes for the other faceplates. I don't like 12 buttons when I'm playing first person shooters, so I remap those to Ctrl+Alt or E / F for activations.

The good - wireless works well, scroll wheel has horizontal scrolling. Build quality is solid - all buttons function properly and no double clicking nightmare.The bad - I have many complaints. This mouse is HUGE. It is extremely uncomfortable to use, and I have started to have wrist pain after one week of using it. I basically have to hold it diagonally in order to even use the MMO buttons and get a grip on the mouse. The 1,2,3 buttons on the MMO panel are impossible to reach with your thumb if held normally. The mouse is very slippery and impossible to pick up by normal means.I'm going to try using grip tape so that I can hold the mouse normally, even though that will make me unable to press 3 of the MMO buttons. The value of the side buttons is obvious to anyone considering the mouse, and they mostly work as expected.The issues I had with it come down to grip and build quality.While overall the mouse is what I’d consider comfortable, lift-off with the 12-button panel proved too problematic even with strategically applied grip tape. It’s an awkward dance of maintaining enough pressure and friction to pick up the mouse while also not pressing any side buttons. This issue is largely nonexistent with the 6-button and 2-button panels, so if you bought it to use with those I think you’re likely in good shape.In regards to build quality, the left mouse button had far too much slop/play for my tastes. The mouse from a hardware point of view is great. Almost everything from the feel, ergonomics, scroll wheel, clicked and the signature razer RGB was great, the only thing that was not would be charging cable which normally wouldn't be a big deal on a wireless mouse (foreshadowing). It is a braided cable however the Paracord sleeving on it was slightly too long leading to bunching at one end of the cable. Upon waking up it goes back to default settings until it reconnects to synapse but for whatever reason it cannot reconnect. After spending little over an hour with razer support the work around I have to do is shut down synapse then relaunch for the mouse to connect. They elevated the issue to another team that will look into solving the connection issue. And for those wonder I'm running windows 11 pro, latest synapse 3 version and latest mouse firmware. Needless to say I am returning this and will warn everyone to stay away. If you like the mouse save the $100 and get the wired version.

I bought this mouse because i was looking for a dual purpose mouse (gaming/work) that had at least as many buttons as the g604 and with onboard memory so i could use it on my work computer. Unfortunately there are numerous functions that dont work without synapse. Even with onboard memorh any macro using the wibdows key requires synapse. Many Windows shortcuts listed in synapse require synapse. Side scroll requires synapse. Also the scroll wheel was more of a ginmick than abything really functional. The cheaper hyperspeed version actually has a freescroll wheel that comes close to what logitech mice have. If you obly buy this for gaming its a great mouse if you use synapse. Otherwise, for productivity i would go with a different mouse. [Rewarded Review] Was finally convinced, wish I had listened sooner.

I've had friends tell me for ages to get this mouse, and I finally caved. I should have done it far sooner. I thought adjusting to 12 buttons on the side would take a while, but it was actually very intuitive and easy to get used to. It has made playing MMOs (and, really, any other button-heavy game) significantly easier.One thing to note, I like to keep my mice plugged in, which is unusual I know, but when this mouse stays plugged in the lighting features don't exactly work. So just keep that in mind. You'll want to run it wirelessly if you want to take full advantage of chroma or synapse.
