This mic is very basic. You plug it into a USB port and it just gets picked up as a fairly basic microphone. No extra software, no Synapse integration, no settings beyond basic operating system microphone settings. However, I have been incredibly happy with how well it performs for the money. It's small enough that you can easily keep it near you even without a mic arm. As long as you keep it in front of your keyboard/mouse, Discord's noise suppression perfectly ignores even a very loud Blackwidow mechanical keyboard. When paired with Krisp (tested through Discord, but theoretically should apply to other uses) you get a clear voice with no noise. If you're looking for the ability to tweak your mic to your exact needs, there's probably better options. But if you're looking for a good plug and play mic for voice calls or gaming, this has been stellar.

I decided to get this microphone after hearing about it online and in various reviews, I am happy to say that it does hold up to expectations when it comes to sound quality. It captures voice in great clarity that sound very natural to listen to over the entire frequency range. Sound rejection is also great on this mic, when I use it for Discord chats I can rest assured that I am not bothering anyone with my loud keyboard or family in the background. However, at times it can be a bit too quiet. For example it looses clarity if you are more than 3 feet away from the mic or not speaking directly into it. Other mics do a better job at this. The stand that comes in the box can be improved also, but it comes threaded so you can mount it on a better stand if you have one.

This is a very decent USB microphone at a reasonable price. The sound and build quality is very acceptable at this price range. There are no extra buttons and/or other features, which is not a problem for me because I just need a good enough USB microphone for virtual meetings. It is small enough and can be put anywhere without occupying too much precious spaces around my work station. I actually clamp it using a flexible arm attached to the table, so I can place it at an optimal position.

Pros: - Decent quality sound. - No extra drivers to install; however, no native noise cancellation either. Cons: - No noise cancellation, to me is fine, I use Equalizer APO with Reaper plugins to create a basic noise profile and a gate to eliminate keyboards and fan noise; however if you are not savvy this might be the biggest flaw. - Cuts out a lot with the gate and reafir running... it's a very particular mic which is good and bad, but with a little listening and tweaking of angles you can figure it out. - Stand seems very pointless... get an arm and something to hold it. At $50 thought you can't expect that. Overall if you know what you are doing this is a VERY standalone type mic that will need some extras to get it fine tuned if you got excessive fan noise, ... MorePros: - Decent quality sound. - No extra drivers to install; however, no native noise cancellation either. While this is a 5 star product for me, I could see it being 4 stars for someone else. That’s due to the fact that the sound quality is insanely good for the price, (I’d recommend looking up randomfrankp’s review on YouTube to hear how great it sounds) however, there are basically no extra features including no mute button. This is no problem to me, since I have a button on my keyboard I can easily press to mute, or I mean if you really want to be sure just unplug it. Speaking of that, it’s super easy, plug and play to any usb-a port. I use it for talking to friends on discord and such, but I know streamers use it too. What’s also nice is it’s ability to get attached to a boom arm, and how small it is, it barely takes up any space on my desk. While recording my first VLOG, the audio engineer stopped the session because of the poor quality from my laptop microphone. He suggested the CAD Audio U1 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone. But since the follow up recording session was the next day, I ran out to the nearest Best Buy and picked up a pink Razer Seiren Mini Ultra-Compact Condenser Microphone. I'm glad I did because the audio is crystal clear with no sound distortions or echo-back. I love my pink microphone.
I wanted to love this microphone. I purchase it after reading other reviews across the different colours. A couple of reviewers noted the volume was too quiet and they managed to fix it via the settings. I found the volume too quiet and followed the step by step in the settings, but I don't have the option for Microphone Boost in my settings as the screenshots showed. It records up to 25% volume if I yell. It doesn't cut out the noise from things like bumping the desk, and certainly doesn't cut out the noise typing on the keyboard makes or using the mouse. I would say don't buy this model - but there are other 5 star reviews so maybe it will work for you. It certainly was a waste of money for me and a few others. It just looks pretty but doesn't do what it states it ... MoreI wanted to love this microphone. I purchase it after reading other reviews across the different colours. Plus why would a microphone be set to record at a low volume, ie: under 20% when speaking and the microphone is next to my mouth (in the way)? Good luck if you choose to purchase this gimmick.
The Seiren Mini is an honestly wonderful microphone for personal computer usage. It picks up voices accurately and clearly while often successfully ignoring background noises such as large summertime fans. This mic is about the size of a 355ML soda can, which makes it easy to relocate on your desk when in or out of use. Unfortunately, this size comparison makes it easy to accidentally attempt to drink from your microphone out of reflex if you're a habitual soda drinker. My only real complaint is that the microphone's top half is designed in a way that's very easy to collect dust or other stray particles that you wouldn't want on your mic. Cleaning has been easy, though it may concern messy eaters or people who work with paints or other craft materials. I own a Razer Seiren X and have been using it for close to 1 year now. I love the mic and the quality, however, as part o my living now comes from using my voice online, naturally, I began looking for an upgrade after my business began to accelerate. After looking around at different products and reviews, I came across the Seiren mini. At half the price of the Seiren X that I own, I could hardly believe what I was reading and hearing. The hardest to believe was the claim that it was "The best USB mic money can buy". Well, my wife and my teenage son were both in need of an upgrade from the cheap mic they were using, so I decided to pull the trigger and get 2 of these mics. Oh My Lord. Every I had heard was true! I was expecting to plug this mic in and have some decent quality and to have to apply layers of filters etc but no. This was not the case. Day one, out the box this mic absolutely demolished my expectations! From the better build quality to the increased vocal clarity. Better range, pitch, and gain. Buy this mic for anyone that needs a mic. Trust me, its the best buy you can get without going into XLR mics.
I pick one of these up while I was building a better zoom/Microsoft teams set up. I wanted something that had better sound quality than the integrated mics in laptops or webcams like the c920, along with good enough noise isolation that I could use it on a desk with speakers, and perhaps most importantly it had to be truly plug and play. One of the primary users of the system it would be part of is my elderly father so having to fiddle with settings menus regularly would be an immediate disqualifier. I'm happy to say this little mic exceeded my expectations in every way.
