My mic use is mainly for work, I have virtual calls everyday. I also use it in Discord to game with friends and I record videos occasionally. I upgraded from a Blue Snowball ICE to this mic and I'm really happy with the quality difference. The Snowball had good quality, but the levels were low and I have a lower voice so it sometimes wouldn't pick up what I was saying or cut in and out. The Seiren has fixed all those problems. I'm loud and clear on the mic. This mic is supposed to be a step up from the Blue Snowball, and be more of a competitor to the Blue Yeti X, Elgato Wave 3 and AT2020, but for 33-50% cheaper. Throw in the additional 50% off for the refurb, and it's an unbeatable deal. It basically costs the same as the Snowball, for 2-4x the value. While the microphone worked great, and set up was a breeze, I ran into some issues. The first being that the microphone gives back a horrible static feed. I searched online to see if it was a setting or balancing issue, but turns out others had the same issue. They believe it to be the microphone picking up monitor static. I am limited on desktop space, so my microphone has to be near my monitors. I could buy a boom arm, but that’s an additional cost I had not accounted for.

Switched from a headphone mic on another razer headphone product to this one; made my voice much clearer and could be heard from further away. A lot of my peers noticed the difference as well!
Great product! It’s worth the price! I’m loving this awesome microphone! The family are all happy with its clear and crisp sound.
I loved the mic at first. It’s very convenient and pink! However off and on again I would experience some “squeak” sounds during gameplay that other people would call me out with. When I tested myOld mic and my new headset mic they didn’t detect a problem. I am sure this could be fixed but I already tried, regardless it’s an amazing mic and I do recommend it!
This is an excellent USB microphone. I am a university music teacher, and due to stay-at-home advice from the city and university, I was required to begin teaching private tuba lessons online. The microphones that are part of laptops, phones and tablets do not do well with music that is loud and low in pitch, which pretty much defines what a tuba is! These microphones do an excellent job with the full frequency range of music, and have actually made my job possible at this time.
Best budget usb mic. Blue yeti’s life span is less than a year now. This is cheaper and better alternative

Fantastic pick up for a casual gamer and online student. The mute button is extremely useful when you can't get out of one program to hit that mute button in zoom or discord fast enough. a tiny bit finnicky once in awhile but I'm not sure if that's because of internet or the mic itself. I love it, and it looks cute on my desk.
