The mouse itself is ok, I think the price is incredibly inflated given the build quality. The most annoying aspect is the software itself. If you choose to opt out of it good luck. it will try to get you to install it at every reconnection, it honestly behaves like adware. I would say for the money you can definitely get better mouses. They may not have the hype that razor probably spends all of the overhead into marketing but its mediocre at best. I also got this mouse for $36 because BB messed up my order. One of the buttons messed up within the first year so I had to get a warranty replacement. Don't believe the bots.

I've used several wired/wireless mouse combos in the past. For gaming, the Basilisk may feel sturdier and more ergonomic. For business and travel, the Viper is as good as it gets. It takes a while to charge, but it also lasts a long time. High accuracy and easy to get setup with. (And the RGB lighting makes a splashy statement and sets you apart from your co-workers!)

This mouse is very similar to the g pro, I only have the superlight, The right sided buttons are hard to click as a right handed user since they are so inset. I dont really use them. as it causes me to change my grip. No buttons other than the scroll wheel at the top and no tilt on scroll wheel. It is flatter than the superlight though. I am using this as palm grip [warm up mode] and will switch to g303 when i go claw [serious mode].I believe viper v2 should be coming out very soon which is why these are discounted and included in bundles. I also believe this is a later production variant of the RVU where they fixed the issue with buttons feeling mushy, because every click on this mouse is crisp and satisfying.The one big downside I see against the V2 is the side grips aren’t removable. This means the side grips will wear down after multiple years of use, whereas the V2 has attachable and detachable grips.There is plenty of other mice such as the Orochi V2 to consider, but that one ended up being too small for my hands. This is a last year mouse. It is at a significant discount because it uses micro usb instead of USBC. If you leave the charging block plugged in, it makes no difference. It is ambidextrous, so two unused buttons can be reprogrammed. To take full use of the charging block, it needs to be plugged into an always powered USB port on your computer.Then the dongle can be plugged into the dock. The battery will only last a few days without charging, so the mouse should be on the charger every night. The dock will give charger status. Sensitivity is programmable and can store up to 5 profiles.
This is a great top of the line wireless mouse from Razer especially if you’re into competitive FPS games. It’s light (73g) without holes and the rest of the buttons and overall build quality is great. I did have a unit which had a loose cover for the dongle, but I got it exchanged and all was good. This mouse at the end though for me just didn’t work out when it comes to the shape. I found the hump to be too low as a relaxed claw gripper and ended up getting a G Pro Wireless instead a few months later as it had a higher hump and matched this mouse when it comes to the rest of the specs. Both this mouse and the G Pro Wireless are usually on display at Best Buy so I’d suggest trying both out before buying either to see what you prefer.

I reinstalled it multiple times and attempted to troubleshoot it and have a background in IT, but nothing seemed to work.The mouse sensor will also get mixed up if you lift it a little and set it back down to reset it to the center of your mouse pad, shaking your screen or rapidly spinning if you are playing anything first person.I gave this company a second chance and have been let down again. Even if you can justify one or two of these problems as "user error", just one of these issues makes this mouse not worth buying.If you do not believe this review, I STRONGLY urge you to use it for a week and make an educated decision on whether or not you want to return it before exceeding the return policy.
Solid ambidextrous mouse! Great shape, good sensor placement, and excellent LOD. But not for small hands unless you palm grip… I’ve gone through quiet a few mice from g400, g402, g303, gpro, g403 wireless, g900, g305, GPW, g303 wireless, EC2-A, FK2, ZA13, S2, model o, model o-, model d-, mm711, and Orochi V2. And in terms of LOD, weight, and overall quality I would have to have rank at #1 tied with g303 wireless. Unfortunately I had to return it just cause it was pretty big. I love the shape but I’ll have to wait for a mini version. Ended up getting the Orochi V2 and am really happy with the shape/size even if the LOD is not as great.
Had my old original mouse that came with my pc crap out so I had no choice but to get a mouse. After searching around a bit I found this mouse popping up quite a bit and figured may as well as I have a razor keyboard too. About a month in using this and it’s really nice. It’s a nice ergonomic but cool looking mouse and is a much needed upgrade to my previously wired mouse. Since I’m a cheapscape I got the one without a charging dock which is only a convenience but otherwise you charge it with a nice USB to microUSB that plugs into the front and allows you to use it while charging. It also lights up but I turn it off because it looks more professional to me that way. Overall super nice mouse that I will use for a very long time.
