We bought this scooter because our son used to have the smaller version when we lived in an area that wasn't as suitable for riding so we got rid of it. He never let us forget how much he liked that version.Well, we were happy to see there is this bigger version since our son is surely too big for the same one he had when he was younger. He's 11 and a bit heavier than many kids his age, so we thought we would try this. The frame is very solid and easily holds our son. It seems to ride very smoothly and has no trouble on even asphalt. As long as it is cared for, I suspect this will last for several years to come. I highly recommend this product.

Got this for my 8 year old for Christmas. She likes to ride it. It is very easy to get going and maneuvers very good. Actually, we all like to ride on it! Only thing to look out for is if your neighborhood has inclines, it is very difficult to keep it going up a hill. We had it at my parents, and she would have to keep taking her foot off to push it up the hill like a regular scooter. Very difficult and tedious for her, but she's athletic so wasn't discouraged... Luckily, our neighborhood is flat streets/sidewalks, so it works well majority of time. Besides that, fun scooter!

I tried the Powerwing at a friend's house and loved it. Three wheels make the ride easy and stable for a 9 year old and a mom. I wish the handle bars could raise up a little more but they were perfect for my daughter. The brake works slowly but is a nice feature. Taking it out on a bike path is awesome and the only problem we have is sharing. This is a new twist on an old favorite and I recommend this product for the young at heart.

Works great for my almost 10 year old granddaughter who is taller and weighs 90 lbs. Had outgrown her previous scooter so this was a perfect step up for her. She loves it and can scoot with all the kids. Appreciate the ability to adjust the height of the steering column to accommodate growth. It holds up to 143 lbs so she should get a lot of use out of it. I also feel it is a safe alternative for these growing preteen kids. Her sister, age 7, 60 lbs, is very small for her age and this would be way to big for her.
I bought these for my daughters and the other people in the neighborhood all want to ride them. They are unusual and so much fun. I first bought the Razor Powerwing, and then exchanged them for the Powerwing DLX. It is bigger, and has adjustable handlebars. I thought the larger one would last longer. My granddaughter of 5 can ride this size, so the larger one would be more value for money! (It is slightly more expensive, though)!
We bought the Razor Powerwing DLX for my 9 year old grandaughter and cannot get her off it. Thought it would be great fun, which it is. But it's also terrific exercise for her. The scooter is very strong and substantial. A very important feature is that the handle bars adjust. We had bought another scooter but even though her age and weight was in the range, the handlebars were too low so the adjustable one are important. A few parts needed to be put together but within 20 minutes was complete and ready to go. My grandaughter loves loves this....
My 5 year old loves it (as does her 7 yr old sister). It was easy to put together and seems sturdy enough. Only drawbacks are that the height cannot be adjusted (not really a problem for either of my kids) and the box that is shipped is the Razor box, which makes surprises a bit more difficult.
I put it together in less than 10 minutes (without my husband's help). It has been ridden numerous times throughout the house. Luckily, we had spring-like weather and she could take it outside, too. It was easy to ride up and down hills. It was definitely a great purchase. Wal-Mart had it for $50 less than Amazon and $30 less than Target. Loved the free shipping Site-to-Store options. They notified me and I picked it up quickly without any lines. Very happy customer!!
My 10 year-old daughter got one of these for a birthday present. She thinks it's the coolest thing since 1Direction!!! She was a little apprehensive at first until she realized how to control it. Now I have a speed racer for a daughter. She is doing spin outs and racing with her little buddy who also has one. I would recommend it for any kids with plenty of concrete and blacktop around. It's also a good workout for her legs!!
Purchased for my seven year old. She loves it and uses it daily. It took her a few passes up and down the driveway to get uses to the back-and-forth motion required to move it forward as designed, but once she got it there was no stopping her. Turns are a little tricky too - the back end can swing around quickly, which makes it fun once you get used to it, but pads and helmet are a must while getting the hang of it. The product itself is very rugged and well put together. It's handled all the abuse dished out so far, including parents trying out the scooter - in the interest of safety, of course :).
