Got it for my son's 7th birthday and he loves it. My 11 year old daughter wants a new one now. (She has the older razor, it has been great, that's why we decided to go with a razor again)The refill cartridge for the sparks did take a while to get in. The scooter itself didn't take to long at all. Great Birthday present!

The first one lasted 3 years although the spark cartridge only last a few weeks depending on how much or how little your child likes to make it spark. Since you can't buy the replacement cartridges in our local stores my son will conserve his to make it last but I really wish it came with a couple extra cartridges at time of purchase. I would have given it 5 stars if it did! Otherwise the function of the scooter is great. We've never had issues with the light up wheels not working or any issues with the scooter falling apart in any way. The wheels lasted the full 3 years we had the first one but the foam handlebars came off within the first year. I bought this for my 5 year old and he loves it. I love that ita foldable and easy to store. He loves that he gets compliments from older kids about how cool his sparks are. I haven't looked up on how much it will cost to replace the spark piece but I think he will do fine without.

We bought this for my son's 5th bday. He loves it, but he and his friends wore out the spark cartridge in the first day. Works without it, but kind of disappointing since we paid extra for it to spark and the replacement cartridges are sold out/expensive through a third party.
Awesome scooters, affordable price! Bought two of these for my boys! They love them!! They do wear out rather quickly, at least with my boys they do. But for the time they last alongside the price I encourage anyone to just make the purchase!!
My older son has this scooter so my younger son, or course, also had to have one for his recent birthday. The scooter is very easy to set up right out of the box. The sparks are impressive. It definitely catches the eye of the other kids in the neighborhood when they ride by and shoot out sparks. I like that it requires no batteries. When I was looking for this specific item, Walmart had the best stock and price with fast free shipping.
I bought this scooter in blue and red for my lids. I love the spark effect. My kids love to use the sparks when it gets dark outside. One of the scooters messed up by the wheel. The wheel has turned sideways so the scooter no longer rides straight!Other than that the one that isnt broken works well.
I bought for a 7 year old. He is extremely happy and extra bonus are the led wheels and the spark bar. Arrived yesterday so we tested it at the park, so many kids were in awe. My son has been saying how much he loves the scooter. Folds easily and it is lightweight!
Bought as a birthday gift for my granddaughter, turning 9, who coveted her older brother's scooter : ) Love the color, craftsmanship, and lighted wheels and sparks. She uses the scooter joyfully! Now the 6-year-old is jealous of both older brother and older sister, but at least they share!
My 6 yo son really like this. He is the size of an 8 year old so we went to the big size thinking he will take to it quickly.The only thing is , he’s more focused on trying to make sparks than learning how to ride better on this scooter.Perhaps I would have chosen one without the sparks at first, and then upgraded to the spark scooter after he got the hang of it better, if I could do it again.
