I was amazed how quickly I received my purchase. I made the purchase as a gift for my soon to be 8 yr old Grandson. His birthday is just days away so I still can't comment on the product is working for him, however it looks great in the packaging.

I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. Received it within days of ordering but so glad I went ahead and opened it up and looked at it. The base was supposed to light up but when pushing the button it did not light up and then I noticed the standing area has a big crease in it where it did not get smoothed out when placed on the Razor. So now I am going to have to return it to a local store and hopefully get another one before Christmas.

I bought this a couple of months ago for my daughter's 7th birthday. She absolutely loves it (as does her 10 year old brother, thus causing many fights...groan!). She rides it in the house and outside. Lovely smooth ride, and the light up deck is a great added feature....looks really good at night!
My five year old loves this scooter it's the perfect height for him now and not rickety like some of the other ones.
We had the scooter for one day and returned it; we charged it and went to use ; the scooter was dead; no lights and no motor working.not a happy birthday for my grandson
Purchased this for my son. The lights stoppedworking the scome time he used it. I paid $40.00 for it. It's down in price now.Should had gotten the cheap version of it. Since the point of this is for the lights to go on.
This scooter concept is so cool & the lights are awesome but it is so poorly designed/made. My 9 year old got this for his birthday in June - and exactly 2 months later it looks like it is 2 years old. He is tiny and rides it in our driveway & on the sidewalk only and the tires have split in 1/2 and the black decking is peeling off. We have 2 original scooters that are over 6 years old - with rust on them - that are in fair better condition than this scooter is.
The package that it arrived in was in decent condition but the box within it that actually holds the scooter was not. It looked as though it may have been a returned item. The battery cover was missing. I attempted to put in batteries to see if it would work...nothing. I suppose it may have been just dead batteries; however, based on the other reviews, I doubt it would work anyway.
The good - it is solid, the kids love the lights, and the wheels roll very smoothly.The not so good - the handle doesn't fold like some razors (not that we ever really did that), and it's not very tall - I'd suggest probably 10yo would be nearing the limit depending on how tall your child is.Overall happy with the purchase and would happily recommend if you can get them at a discount (which we did).
