The shorts I bought are top notch quality, I like the design and layout of the pockets. I wish they would have a reinforced area on the left front pocket for a clipped knife or a tape measure. True to size fit.

I buy my husband's clothing, he is a busy guy who don't have the time to shop around.The shorts are next to his favorite jeans, both made by Ariat. The fit is comfortable and modern. The fabric wash well and comes out of the dryer ready to wear with no change in how they feel or fit.
Great quality, with inconsistent sizing. Both shorts were marked 34 waste. One pair was correct; the other was too small ;more like 33 or smaller
My husband loves the style and fit of these shorts. We recently stumbled on them at Cabella’s, it was the only one they had so we grabbed it. Three weeks later, he ripped his favorite camo cargo shorts that were worn to threads beyond repair (thank goodness!). Ariat.com to the rescue! We both agree these shorts are a great replacement for decade old shorts!
The finish of the fabric is not stiff and very comfortable. The arrangement of pockets is practical. Good fit. Sized correctly. Will definitely purchase again.
In my opinion work shorts should have deep, almost cavernous pockets to hold all ones stuff on a daily basis... these shorts GREATLY disappointed me once I put my hands in my pockets... WAY to shallow for a premium product. Seriously, I have many pairs of a competitors brand that are at least twice as deep... I know this for a fact because of how one of my "daily carry" items won't even fit into the pockets of these shorts... it reminds me of cheaply made, cheaply priced jeans (they almost always have very shallow pockets as cost savings in materials.) If you personally don't care about pocket size they seem to fit well, and are well made, nice stitching and attention to detail, and probably good to go. My husband is not really into into wearing shorts but we are getting ready for a trip so he needed some. I found these and went ahead and ordered three different colors and he loves them the way these fit and the length are perfect so it’s a win win for both of us . Definitely recommend these shorts!
