I have purchased a number of these Projecta IDC25 chargers into 4WD and caravans now and they are an excellent product. In my vehicle it has been subjected to a number of days of extreme summer heat over 40 degrees ambient, on top of the high engine compartment temperatures on an extended trip. The Projector got extremely hot to the point that I could have fried an egg on it while it was working flat out each day charging an auxiliary battery at 25 amps for hours - it never missed a beat. During that time I melted a few fuse holders within the engine compartment but the Projecta worked flawlessly. All the Projecta equipment is robustly and ruggedly built, works brilliantly and wont let you down or dissapoint.

Easy to use, but zero instructions except for a one page picture on how to connect a dcdc charger to it. How ever it displays my starter battery as the aux battery and the aux as the main battery, everything charges as it is supposed to, I am now attempting to drain the secondary battery and to make sure that it doesnt drain the starter battery. Lets see what happens .

This is an excellent product. I couldn't find anything else out there that does the job so well. It keeps my 300AH AGM Battery topped through the solar panel all the time. When I hook the car up to it to charge my trailer while driving, it will feed off that as well. Had no problems so far, its all automatic. Can't recommend enough.

Ive only installed it a week ago. So far so good. Working perfectly. Best value I could find after much shopping around. Like every product do extensive research and make sure it suits your application. Its charging an AGM 120ah auxiliary battery in my toolbox on the ute tray
This unit is very well constructed and appears to be totally sealed. It performs exactly to specifications as far as voltage is concerned. I have not measured charge current as yet, but judging by charge time, must be within design parameters. There are only a few very minor issues with its performance and they are that it only supports 12v system and that it cannot go into float mode if more than 3.5 amp is being drawn by the load...it stays in the adsorbtion mode until load is removed, and then goes into a rock steady 13.7v float mode. The kit is exactly as described and is of very good quality, and workmanship is excellent. Overall, this unit is extremly well made, excellent quality, and very good value.
This DC to DC converter has been designed well. It has all the features needed to connect up a second battery and let you know what is happening. It avoids the extra cost of displays and gauges and just performs the task required - keeping the second battery well charged and protecting the first battery from being run down. It charges at the full 25 Amps even with my variable voltage alternator. I hope it lasts on the rough tracks - time will tell.

Installed in a Toyota Hilux 2017 under bonnet charging a century 110 AH Lead Acid Deep Cycle. Works fine, setup was easy and so far has been reliable and solid. Was cheaper than RedArc and does same job. Designed for the harsher under bonnet conditions. No need for ignition wire for this car, just connect to main battery and starts charging when alternator runs.
