Redken All Soft Mega Mask 200 ml

At first this stuff was a little weird. The bottle actually contains 2 separate containers that you squeeze out at the same time when applying to your hair. The product itself is a very effective conditioning mask. My only complaint is a small one but the bottle itself could be improved. When you get to the bottom it is hard to remove all of the product.

First let’s discuss this packaging. It’s a bottle inside a bottle and there’s a spot on the back where you’re supposed to press to evenly dispense the product. Well, this works pretty well when the product is full, but halfway through this is not longer effective and you can’t get an even mix. They need to come up with a better delivery method. Now for the product itself, it’s pretty basic. I expected a lot seeing as the conditioner is so amazing and leaves my hair silky smooth. For some reason, this mask doesn’t. My hair doesn’t feel better after using it. For the price, I’d not repurchase this. There are better masks on the market.

Astonishingly good mask

I'm impressed. It's been ages since I tried a redken product. I tried Allsoft when it first launched and it didn't seem to do anything for my hair. I stopped trying redken at that point. Recently I went searching for moisturizing shampoos, conditioners, leave-in and blow dry creams. I wanted heavy duty moisture. I figured I'd give this and the hydramelt leave in a try after reading the reviews.This is astonishingly good when used with the leave in. Like, wow. Rarely is my hair this well conditioned. After one use, this will be a staple product for me. I highly recommend it!

Great conditioning treatment.

I really like all of Redken's masks. They make my hair look and feel beautiful. I only need to use them once in a while for just a boost of conditioning. The only downside to these products are their uniquely designed bottles. Although the design is something unique referred to as a great way to mix the ingredients it has one major flaw and that is getting it out of the bottle. Not only do the two compartments not despense equally but it's impossible to get all of the conditioner out of the bottle. This is a major flaw especially considering you're not getting to use all that you've paid for and this stuff is not cheap. A new design is definitely in order.

LOVE THIS

This product is amazing for bleached/extremely dry hair. It makes my hair feel SO soft. My hair hasn't felt this smooth and healthy since before I started bleaching it. This product is best for people with extreme dryness. If you have slight dryness/normal hair use the regular Redken all soft instead as it will cater to your needs more. I absolutely love this mask. I do not get any weird residue whatsoever so I'm guessing the person who mentioned that didn't rinse their hair enough in the shower. The hydramelt leave in cream is also amazing. Highly recommend that product from this line as well! Smells so good.

Left my hair so dry i cannot get my fingers through it

Purchased this product after a sales associate told me it would be a good pre treatment for my hair prior to a salon coloring visit. Five minutes on my hair in the shower, and i could not get my fingers through my previously healthy un chemically treated hair. My hair felt like a ball of wet rubberbands stuck together, almost as if it had been melted. My hair was so dry, that it was almost fully dry just a few minutes out of the shower. I trimmed my hair, but the hair is destroyed from root to end so there is nothing to do. I have to see a stylist to find out if there is anything at all other than growing it out that I can do. It's just horrible!

Mineral Oil? It's a no for me

I bought the whole range of this new All Soft Mega line because I wanted to straighten my kinky curly 4a/4b waist length hair. The original All Soft line worked well for me in the past and I was excited Redken made an All Soft line for coarser/dryer textures.... so the shampoo/conditioner were amazing on my hair. This mega mask is TERRIBLE, on the bottle it says mineral oil is the second ingredient. MINERAL OIL. This stuff doesn't rinse out of your hair, it leaves a residue and made my hair feel dry and greasy. The conditioner on its own was better then this mega mask. I straightened my hair and got decent results but if you want to try this line and have similar hair type just try the conditioner, NOT the mask. It's the only product of this line that was good. Rarely review products, but love this product so much

I purchased the All Soft Mega line at my local Ulta. A store associate recommended the products, saying that she used it personally and professionally. She loved the MEGAMASK because it gave her hair incredible slip and made it easy to style her wash and go. I am so glad that she told me about these products!!! Before these products I could not achieve a successful wash and go.This product line leaves my hair soft, manageable, and well hydrated. This MEGAMASK though ❤️❤️❤️. It hydrates my coils so well. Works great!

I use the entire all soft mega line from the shampoo and conditioner down to the leave on treatment. This mask is great. It does the job you only leave it in for 5 minutes max and with the full line I feel like it just enhances what it can do.i also have a very dry scalp which gets itchy and flaky, this and the shampoo really helped. A side note: to clear up what the comments are saying about mineral oil in the product, it's false. On the back of the tire there is a list on ingredients for two things. The outer tube and the inside. The mineral oil is listed under ingredients for the outer tube not for the product inside of it. You can also find the ingredients for the product on ulta's website. A great product and would recommend it to anyone.

a major hair lifesaver

I cannot say enough great things about this product. Immediately after getting my hair lifted 2 shades blonder, I picked up this gem. I have coarse, thick, medium length hair before the highlights and toning every 6 weeks like clock work. So immediately I needed heavy duty rehydration and nourishment. I leave this mask on about 7 minutes after using redken color treated shampoo. I am using the mask every 5 days. It does take some work to rinse out, but the softness it provides for 2-3 days is fantastic. Prior to blow drying I still use my Redken 25 benefits spray. I am not experiencing any greasy gunky issues.
