Redken Color Extend Blondage Conditioner 300 ml

I received this product in my voxbox. After first application I was surprised, that it actually did it's job! my blond hair got their cool shade back and all the yellow disappeared. it is a great silver product. however...as it's expected all the silver shampoos and conditioners are very harsh on your hair. this isn't an exception. my hair were dry and felt damaged after first application. this is why I wouldn't recommend to use it in conditioner form. Despite the fact that it does a fantastic job, unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it. And as to my knowledge it is not olaplex compatible.

The jury is out on this one.I have naturally white hair, however I do get some brassiness in the longer ends. The ends lost the brassiness but closer to the roots went silver.Also, strangely, I put the shampoo on, rinse off and the water is slightly purple. I put the conditioner on, rinse off and the water is really purple. It seems as though the conditioner has washed out some of the colour of the shampoo.I now only use this once a week.

This is not my first Redken product and I am always excited about this brand. Conditioner smells like apples, has a thick consistency and it is needed just small amount for one application. Hair becomes soft and shiny. Why did one star les? Purple pigments are barely noticeable. Perhaps it is for hair platinum color then pigments are more effective. For me was workable but I would like stronger effect. I would recommend it like very good product for dry and damaged hair.

As with all Redken products, the fragrance is very pleasant. Redken's pH balanced conditioners deeply conditioner my fragile hair without weighing it down.

Anti brass

I usually use a different shampoo & conditioner (Fudge) to reduce the brassiness of my highlighted hair but fancied this for a change, and I am pleased I did. This shampoo & conditioner smells lovely and left my hair not as grey looking, leaving it really soft from first use. The bottles are a bit smaller than I expected but I guess you only need a small amount. Would certainly use again and recommend

Highly recommend for natural white hair

I have natural white and blonde hair. The white had gotten a little yellow tone to it and the blonde had a brassy tone so I decided to try this product and after just a few uses my hair has lost the brassiness and the white is white. I just purchased the largest bottle they sell because I will use this from now on. My hair did not turn purple nor did my shower. And it smells good. I use it for 1-2 days in a row and alternate with biolage color treated shampoo/conditioner. I quit coloring my hair four years ago and it is completely natural now. I am an advocate now for letting your hair go natural. my hair is the healthiest it's ever been, and with a little help from this purple conditioner, keeps the yellow and brassiness away.

MY DAMAGED HAIR IS SO SOFT!

I reviewed the shampoo but forgot to mention that you really can't use one of these without the other. I consider my hair super healthy - I've even had hairdressers refuse service because they don't want to damage my healthy hair (topic for another day) - so when I got it bleached, I was actually surprised that my hair was so incredibly dead and frail. I also got really nervous that my platinum look wouldn't hold as I could already see some brass pigment settling within 3 days. THIS CONDITIONER HAS BEEN A LIFESAVER. After the shampoo treatment, my hair still felt dry under the running water, but after the conditioner - BAM! Silky, smooth hair. Overpriced cheap feeling conditioner

I don't mind the smell and I like the idea of a lighter shade of purple conditioner to alternate with my dark purple one (Amika, love that one). However this feels like the cheap waxy dollar conditioner I used as a teen. Hair looks horrible after use: frizzy, not soft, not nourished or moisturized at all. It even feels weird and thin and waxy when you rinse it out, and hair feels rough and straw-like as soon as it's rinsed. Normally I'll just use up a bottle of conditioner even if I don't love it but this is getting tossed.

If you have fine hair only use a very small amount and leave it on for the minimum time or this will weigh your hair down.Unfortunately as I started drying my hair I noticed it looked dull/grey and lacked it's usual shine. I dried it off and tried looking in different lights but alas, the color looked sad. Thankfully this wasn't permanent and with a few washes with my regular shampoo I was able to get my hair almost back to normal.I think if you are a platinum icy blonde this would work great, or if you are not a regular visitor to the salon. I color (highlight and tone) my hair at the salon every 6-7 weeks and went very recently. Perhaps due to my hair being colored recently the product over toned my hair, or perhaps purple haircare just doesn't agree with my tone of blonde.As the results aren't permanent I am going to give it another go just before my next salon visit and to see how it turns out.
