The redken color extend magnetics conditioner smells amazing! It's affordable for the fact that it does what it's supposed to. I like that it's a thick product so a little goes a long way. It's safe for all hair types but specially designed for color treated hair to extend the color life. I am satisfied with the benefits of using this product. It's a great but for anyone who desires great moisture results while preserving their hair color from fading fast.

I don’t like to start with the things I don’t like, but for this I do. I do not like the smell, or lack there of. I love a shampoo/conditioner scent that stays with you during the day. I know that scent shouldn’t be the deciding factor, but I really like a nice smelling product. This is my in between shampoo. This shampoo lathers nicely! I don’t know about color extending though.

Amazing Shampoo/ Conditioner

I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for about 7 months now and I love it. I bought the big bottles when they were on sale because I needed something that would last a while. My hair always feels so clean and has a fresh scent. The product does work because my hair is naturally light brown and I dye it dark every 3-4 months. I use this shampoo/ conditioner to ensure that my hair does not lose the dye as fast. I love it so much and look forward to trying more products from this brand.

Great for color treated

I compared Redken Color Extend Magnetics Condition to Redken Color Extend Conditioner.I have thin fine hair, I found that Redken Color Extend Magnetics Conditioner has a repair method that is light weight.Redken Color Extend Conditioner is heavier also more conditioning to my ends. It coats the strands although does not weigh the hair downI like the magnetics shampo to repair my color treated hair while rotating the conditioners.Or using Redken Color Extend Conditioner on my ends are rinsing out the other.

Redken Color Extend Magnetics Fabulous Results

I've been using this product for years, and it always works great for my highlighted hair. Color Magnetics Shampoo and Conditioner are both Sulfate and Paraben Free and my color lasts much longer than other products for colored hair that contain Sulfates and Parabens. It has a fabulous scent and the results are always great. Leaves my hair soft and manageable, with no residue left behind. I would never use anything else. It's the best Professional Salon product for colored hair I've ever used. Highly recommend. It only takes a small amount of shampoo. For those out there complaining about greasy or stringy hair, you could be using too much product. It only takes a small amount of shampoo with plenty of water to activate it. Soft & Healthy Hair

My hair is not color treated, but I wanted a sulfate-free shampoo. I first found this Redken Color Extend Magnetics Shampoo + Conditioner at my local salon and tried it because it was the only sulfate-free option in the salon. I've returned to this product multiple times since. More recently I wanted to order online rather than venture to a salon I was no longer using. I'm still happy with how soft and healthy my hair feels.

Too Darn Good

So I recently dyeing my hair red (since I have dark brown hair it's like a burgundy color), I always wondered why my color was fading quickly. I realized that I wasn't using color shampoo/conditioner. I wanted my color to pop and last longer, so I did my research and saw Ulta was having a sale. I normally don't buy salon products due to the price tag, but I said try this out you might like it.Now this is coming from a person with curly (3B), fine, high porosity type hair. This was really good. The lather of the shampoo was really nice and smooth, made my hair clean, and the smell was pleasant. I washed my hair twice because of whatever left of dye I had. Worst conditioner I've ever used

I decided to give the Magnetics conditioner a try. Worst mistake ever. I only applied a small out to my ends just as I do with any conditioner, and it left my hair feeling as if it was coated in something or almost sticky/greasy looking and feeling. I even rinsed it in the sink again to be sure all the product was out. Even after that & letting it air dry, my hair looked and felt awful. My scalp was fine since I didn't apply conditioner above the mids, but the ends were disgusting. I'm literally returning the conditioner tomorrow. Awful product

would not buy again

I originally bought this because I wanted to my hair color to last longer. I did not notice any significant changes to seeing my color last longer even though I was using cold water and not washing my hair as much as I used to. However, I have long thick curly hair and this made my hair extremely hard to brush. I would detangle it and as soon as I would try and brush it again a few minutes later, more knots popped up and it felt never ending arm workout. Not to mention that after my hair dried, it would feel so brittle and dry and damaged, almost like plastic. The smell Is definitely strong but tolerable for me at least. I switched to the extreme recovery line by redken and my hair is feeling much better.
