Redken Extreme Length Sealer - 150ml

I have very fine hair and it is thinning after chemotherapy and cancer treatments. I’ve tried many leave in treatments, and this is by far the most superior one I’ve used. It is lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down or make it greasy. It provides great moisturizing and softness without leaving heavy residue on my hair or scalp. It also smells great! It isn’t overly perfumed or fruity like some brands.

I usually keep my hair at a medium length few inches past my shoulders. However, due to COVID I haven’t had a haircut in a very long time! My ends were looking extra dry, so I decided to try out the Redken Exteemw Lengths Leave In Conditioner. This is excellent stuff! I had the best hair day of my life the first time I used it in conjunction with the Extreme Lengths shampoo and All Soft conditioner. I went outside on an extremely humid day and my hair stayed touchable soft, bouncy, and smooth the entire day. I only used a very small amount on the mid shaft to ends of my thick and wavy long hair.

I use this product with wet hair after the shower. The next day my hair is pretty soft. The hair stylist recommended it to me when i got my hair cut cause i have long hair. Probably won’t repurchase because of price point and i didn’t see a huge difference in my hair. Feel like i can get a similar product for cheaper.

Finally the soft, silky hair I've been looking for!

Routine: Redken Extreme (with protein) or Redken Extreme Length (with Biotin) Shampoo, Extreme Length Conditioner & Extreme Length Leave In Sealer. A couple weeks of use and my hair looks/feels better than ever. My uneven wavy, frizzy hair is silky soft with a majority of the frizz gone, and my need to layer multiple products in my hair has been eliminated. Only time will tell on the advertised lengthening factor, but initial results are very promising as I've noticed much less breakage/fall out. Finally found the hair product combo I've been looking for, which I didn't think existed until now.

Love this stuff!!!

I absolutely love this leave in treatment!! My hair is really thin and I would love to grow my hair long but due to how thin it is,I tend to cut it so not to be as obvious. The great thing about this treatment is that I feel like it thickens the ends of my hair so doesn’t make it as obvious that I have 2 hairs to my name. I’m not sure about it causing your hair to grow but it really does leave my hair in a much better condition and creates the illusion of thicker hair. Love it!!!

Lovely silky product

I applied lightly after washing with the extreme length shampoo & conditioner duo. Feels lightweight on the hair, not at all crunchy & doesn’t give the sticky feel some products do. Helped control flyaways & made my blow dry easier. Would recommend

My hair feels healthy from root to ends!

I bought the sealer originally thinking it was a conditioner, not a leave in conditioner. Despite my mess up though I found it worked perfectly as a wash out and a leave in conditioner. It doesn't sit heavy or leave my hair feeling coated if I wash it out. My recent hair really proved how well it works on my hair as I had very minimal split ends to trim which is perfect as I am trying to grow my hair out and keep my length as much as possible for my wedding later this year. I would recommend to anyone with long, heavy, coarse hair that is prone to split ends, to use this sealer. I'm going to buy the shampoo and conditioner now so I can get the maximum benefits!

Pros and cons

I ordered this because of the great reviews. Sadly I am not in love with it! It smells absolutely amazing. Unfortunately it makes my hair sticky and hard to brush through. (You know how some leave in treatments just make your hair feel sticky, this is one of them). For reference I have very long fine hair so it's prone to breakage. It works ok if I apply AFTER brushing but if applied beforehand it makes everything sticky and pulls too much hair out when brushing. I think this makes me hair soft but not as silky smooth as some higher end brands I've tried like Kerastase. I love the smell though, wish this worked out better for me!

Redken Extreme Length

I'm 25, caucasian, with naturally wavy hair and I really like the Redken Extreme Length system. I love the scent- it's not overbearing at all. The shampoo lathers well, I just feel like it's more watery/not thick- but maybe that extends the use since the bottles are only 10oz and 8oz. The conditioner may not feel like you're using enough, but I can tell that I'm using the right amount for me when I can easily comb through after applying. I love rinsing the conditioner out because my hair feels so smooth. The leave-in treatment makes my hair smooth and doesn't leave a residue. I love the system overall, and I've noticed that my hair is shinier and feels healthier. Hoping to see an increase in health, strength and length!

Redken Extreme Lengths doesn't work for me

I really don't like this sealer or the conditioner. I did not try the shampoo. Both the conditioner and the sealer make my hair feel tacky, rough and dirty. I have naturally curly hair that is highlighted. I returned both items. I like Redken All Soft Mega much more as I need the softening that the All Soft line provides. My hair felt rough, dry and terribly tangly.
