I let this set on my hair for 3 minutes on the first use. Again, I was concerned about my hair being flattened, so I wanted to start off small. My hair, well half of my hair, has been chemically colored. The other half is natural, and untouched. The part that is colored naturally is a lot more drier, and a bit more unruly. It has split ends, and can get a bit frizzy. I did use this all over my hair, and after 3 mins washed it out. I wasn't expecting results on the first use, but I really did notice a difference just after 1 wash. My hair had a lot more shine, and it just looked salon styled after I blow dried it. It felt light, and not weighed down at all.

I like what this extreme mask does for my dry, middle-aged hair—gives it texture like I used to have years ago. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling super soft like regular conditioners tend to do. Instead, my hair looks and feels more natural; dryness is gone and I have better control when styling. Using a small amount once or twice a week is all that is needed to get good results, and it's suitable for color-treated hair like mine.

I used too much the first time and it left my hair sticky so I had to rewash it. After that, I used about 1/4 of the amount I thought I should and it was perfect. My hair is dry and split from bleach damage and this made the ends look and feel so much nicer.

The instructions says to leave this mask on after shampooing for about 3-5 minutes then you rinse out. After I did that I used the leave in spray and my hair feels noticeably softer after using it! I like the scent as well. It isn’t overwhelming perfumed and it isn’t floral it’s just a nice clean fresh scent. Overall, the line is worth trying if your hair needs saving!
I had to get a volunteer to try out this Redken Extreme Mask, and believe me she was more than willing to try it. She has over-processed hair and it's very dry, brittle and frizzy. Or lets just say, it WAS! I could see a huge difference, after just one application. She ran right out, and bought the whole EXTREME line. I believe she is very pleased with this product.
Redken products are always high quality good products, rarely have I found a product I don't like. This Redken Hair Mask for Damaged, Brittle Hair is no different. It's a nice thick consistency and I use a generous amount and leave it on my damp freshly washed hair for about 15 minutes for this best results. It leaves my hair soft and less damaged feeling and looking. Very good mask!
This was recommended by my hairdresser, and I am very happy with it so far. Using once a week after a shower at the gym, just going to the steam room for 5 minutes with the mask on my hair makes wonders. Better than leaving 30 minutes at home! My curls are more defined and generally more hydrated. Doesn't feel heavy or oily at all, actually kind of lasts a bit longer between washes.
Grew my bleached hair out during the last 2 years. Got bored and re bleached. My hair was wreaked after 🤦🏼‍♀️ Half of it broke and it thinned massively. I then spent a fortune trying everything else. Finally went back to Redken and oh my goodness….. it’s like night and day. Don’t hesitate if you have dry brittle bleached hair….. there really is nothing better.
My hair definitely felt amazing after using it. I perfer Redken products over Oplex. Only complaint I have was not receiving the samples I got to pick out. I don’t know why they offer it if they aren’t gonna send it. I wanted to try a couple of the samples before making a purchase. Regardless the product was good and definitely helped my bleached hair.
I've been using this mask for several months and I love it. I got it free as a trial product and I think paperwork with that said that it can take a few washes to see the benefits, which I agree with. After the first use my hair was so frizzy but after the third use it looked so healthy and sleek ans shiny. I have to leave it in the full 5 minutes or else I might not see as much of an improvement. The first few weeks I used it 2-3 times a week but not I only use it once a week and that's enough. The feel of the product is great and it rinses just fine. My hair is super super fine but I don't find that this product weighs it down at all. Definitely going to be repurchasing this mask when my current one runs out.
