Redken Volume Maximizer Thickening Spray (250ml)

Amazing! Im a hair stylist and this is my new favorite in the salon! I love volume, but hate that gritty feeling most volume products come with. This is so light weight, and you can’t feel it in your hair at all. You only need a little and it’s for all hair types. We basically are constantly out of this product because it sells so fast!

I absolutely love this product. I struggle with thin fine hair and this has truly been a life saver. It’s always hard for me to get any type of volume in my hair but a couple sprays of this before I style my hair and it looks amazing. I would definitely recommend to those who have thin fine hair like me

Actually works!

Believe me, I've tried any and all products promising more volume. To my surprise, this one actually works! Gives fine hair just enough volume consistently. Not sticky and doesn't have an overpowering smell. Very pleased to have found a product that works even if it's a tad high in price.

After 1st use, I could see more volume

My stylist used this product on my hair on 8/28/21. WOW...I could feel the difference even before my hair had finished drying. The sprayer isn't the best, but we unscrewed the top and poured it into my hands, and I spread it all over my hair like I would a mousse product. I did not just spray it as a root product, I spread it on every stand of hair and scalp. My hair is extremely fine and thin and I have to use a root concealer all over the top of my hair to hide areas that are thinning. This Redken product made my hair look much fuller after it was blow-dryed and styled. My stylist is going to purchase a bottle for me so I can keep it at home. I highly recommend you give it a try.

When I use this, I am able to use less of my other styling products due to the light hold of this product. The scent is similar to the Volume Injection products and is pleasant but not too feminine. My criticism of this product is its spray mechanism, which delivers the product, not in a spray, but a stream that requires further combing the product into the hair. I would not buy this product again

I bought this product to thicken my hair. But it is so thick that the sprayer does not work well. The product streams out of the sprayer and makes it difficult to get even coverage. This make for a lot of effort to work it in with a brush while drying with a hair dryer. Almost always end up with dense regions.

Love this product

I've read some reviews about spraying the product onto the hair. I spray some onto my hands rub it together then apply roots. Having arthritis you just have to figure out other ways to use. This works for me.As far as the product it's great. I put it on my damp hair and let it dry. Then just play around until I get the look I want.Five Stars

Love this stuff!

I was introduced to this product by my stylist. When she gave me the amount to use is when things changed for the better. I have short thin hair. I was using about 3-4 squirts in my hand and rubbing it in. It just wasnt working for me like it did for her. When I asked her how to use it she told me 12 squirts. Start at your crown and work it in. From there on out things are going great. I would definitely recommend, except its very hard to find. Good Luck!

New favorite

I recently started using this product and I could see the effects from the start! My hair has more volume, looks and feels thicker even when it's air dried-a huge plus for my fine, straight hair in my hot climate. Helps my style hold better as well.I'll definitely be continuing to use this product. Very happy.

Sticky and Does not Work

I tried this product several times. The first time was a sticky mess that did not add volume and made my somewhat thin hair severely tangle to the point I had to cut some off. And that was after combing it through before blowdrying. Even with that disaster, I surprisingly tried again a couple of months later. As others said, spray into your hands and use sparingly. That helped with stickiness, but it is completely ineffective at thickening or volumizing, so don't waste your money.
