Some folks attempt to bypass the stomach altogether and place the powder underneath their tongue and try to get some absorption that way. Obviously, some of it still gets washed down with saliva. Having said that, I started out with Jarrow, and the effects were marginal. So I increased the dose from 500mg 2x/day to 1000mg 2x/day, which helped. Studies used much more than that, so it felt like a safe dosage (I couldn't really find anything definitive for dosing). Then upon further research, I realized Bulk Supplements carried reduced glutathione, and since I open the Jarrow capsules and let as much as I could absorb under the tongue anyway, I thought why not? I have used the garcinia cambogia from Bulk Supplements and still do, and it has been a great GC. I cannot even express the benefits I feel I have gotten from this product. Even when I haven't gotten enough sleep, I take this, and have energy. Somehow, and I don't know how since I haven't yet read about this being a benefit, but it has neutralized my appetite. So, not only do I have more energy, more motivation, but my appetite has normalized. I used the term "neutralized my appetite" because after losing 85lbs, you know what happens to the appetite - it increases, as a sort of backlash as the body tries to restore some of the weight lost. Everything I seemed to do kept me wanting to eat more, particularly high fat/high sugar items, so I kept telling my husband that I needed something to "neutralize" my appetite so I didn't crave those things (insulin problem, basically). TL; DR: I am really pleased with the results - I feel like a different person. I feel more relaxed, less stressed out, with more energy. Amazing.

I was already taking a good quality reduced sublingual "G" from another Co. so I had something to compare with. I took this one for 5 days & continued to also take my BS NAC(Acetylcysteine). For the record if your going to take "G" then the NAC is a must along with some B2. This product tasted the same as the one I was taking(minus some orange flavoring) & gave me more energy than the other. I have done hours of reading so I know the best way to take this product(which is Sublingually for everyday users) but the avg. person wouldn't know this. The absolute best is via Injection but most of us can't afford that. The other negative for me personally is that it's very hard to keep this product under your tongue because it's a powder. It wants to disburse throughout your mouth. If you just swallow Glutathione your not going to benefit from it. This product is a bit more expensive than the avg. but again it allows you to dial your dose. I would like to state that the NAC I buy from Bulk Supplements is the best as long as you can handle the sour pucker taste. I would NOT buy any other brand! The combination of these 2 supplements help me with an ongoing ailment for the last 3 yrs(Fungal internal/external). I took some Antifungals for 2 mos. but it didn't clear up the whole problem. The Dr's did a tissue sample & couldn't get it to grow so they wouldn't prescribe the Itraconazole anymore. So in 11/2018, I was left to figure it out myself! BEST WAY TO TAKE - From the reading I've done there are 2 ways to take this and get maximum result...[1] Use this powder along with lecithin to make a liposomal version that can be swallowed - I have not tried this yet (see internet or other reviews on how to do this) [2] put it under your tongue for sublingual ingestion - this is what I've done so far. The reason you do not swallow it like you do most other supplements is because it will get broken down in your digestive tract before it can get into your bloodstream and get into your other organs work it's magic. Apparently the taking the liposomal form prevents this problem. Note about taking sublingually - Right now I put 1/8th tsp under my tongue and let it dissolve. Another reviewer described this powder as having a pleasant citrusy flavor. I did not find that to be true for me. It's not my favorite taste, but it's not so bad that I can't handle it for the minute or two that it takes to dissolve. I assume the powder dissolves or slurries well in water since I consumed it by placing directly on my tongue, where it mixed readily with saliva, producing a slightly sour taste, and was swallowed with no unpleasantness. So even without any sugar, this particular medicine went down quite easily, if not "in a most delightful way." I consume around 1000mg per day, taken in three doses of a scant quarter tsp timed throughout the day. After having just finished my 10g sample, several effects are apparent, all of them among the benefits commonly ascribed to this supplement by those who use it: 1) There was a definite smoothing of the skin and brightening of skin tone which is encouraging after such a short trial and I expect this to increase with continued use. 2) Cognitive benefits, probably due to anti-oxidant protection of brain cells, such as improvements in focus, concentration, endurance and ease of recalling old but relevant memories. This impressed me as I have a good memory but it seemed that the glutathione was enhancing these functions in the background in a modest but definitely perceptible way. Again, I am optimistic that continued use and perhaps increased dosage will result in greater benefits. 3) Higher physical energy level and endurance throughout the day, which may result from glutathione's stimulation of NO production. To sum things up, I found this supplement to be helpful in several ways and plan to incorporate it into my stack at increased dosage. I will probably rotate it with NAS, which the body uses to produce its own glutathione. Recent studies have shown that the bioavailability of **** glutathione is higher than previously thought and that it makes it into the intestinal walls from whence it presumably enters the bloodstream and is distributed throughout the body.

as another reviewer mentioned, I decided to take this sublingually since I have not found lipoceutical glutathione to be that helpful for me and why do more work to make it. I just put a small bit under my tongue. I usually take it in the morning before I eat with some other detox supplements. I didn't notice feeling *better* and yet when I ran out I did find myself more sensitive to chemical exposures. (I have a history with chemical sensitivity and so though I am well I still continue with detox activities). So I restarted taking it and problems resolved. Also used it on a recent cross country airplane trip to help my body handle additional toxic exposures and again... no problems, no reactions. So my reasonable conclusion is that this is helping my body process ... Moreas another reviewer mentioned, I decided to take this sublingually since I have not found lipoceutical glutathione to be that helpful for me and why do more work to make it. I just put a small bit under my tongue. I usually take it in the morning before I eat with some other detox supplements. I didn't notice feeling *better* and yet when I ran out I did find myself more sensitive to chemical exposures. (I have a history with chemical sensitivity and so though I am well I still continue with detox activities). So I restarted taking it and problems resolved. Also used it on a recent cross country airplane trip to help my body handle additional toxic exposures and again... no problems, no reactions. So my reasonable conclusion is that this is helping my body process toxins and I am continuing using it as a support. It is affordable as compared to other options on the market, and works to use it in bulk as delivered by bulk supplements. It does not compare to (complicated, expensive) nebulized glutathione, and if you are very sick I highly recommend that. But for where I am at now, this works great and I recommend it to those who need something to increase thier detox capacity.
