Everyone talks about the initial shed you get from this treatment. That was the case with me - I did notice an initial shed of hair, but it only lasted 2.5 weeks and it certainly was not masses of hair coming out (for eg, after washing I would notice a few more strands than usual in the shower or when brushing, more hairs than I usually would see). When you see this: don’t panic, it’s a great sign the treatment is going to work for you - so push through that initial shed. 3. Do not miss doses of this product. In 1.5 years, I’ve probably only missed two doses which didn’t make any difference, however - you don’t want to fall into the habit of that as, as soon as you stop using this product, your new hair growth will likely fall out.

Have used this for 1 week so no results yet. I have a VERY sensitive scalp and luckily this has not caused any irritation so far. It’s easy to use, takes a bit of time to fully absorb, once fully absorbed hair feels like I've got a light hairspray on. Doesn’t look dirty or anything and hair can still be styled. I have high hopes because my sister have been using this on her brows and they look so much fully, even her little gap have grown back too

As someone who fought against hair loss pretty early on, I’m thankful to my doctor who recommended using Minoxidil. There are so many magical “treatments” out there that actually don’t work and cost a fortune - trust me, this product works, but only if you use it everyday for at least few months. Thank you, Regaine - I’m in love with my hair again! They are much fuller, thicker and look beautiful.

I wish I had discovered this product years ago. After 3 months of use, I have lots of new hair growth around my hairline and temples where it was continuing to recede. The hair is already over an inch long and looks the same colour and texture as the rest of my hair. The product is easy to use and apply and has produced excellent results. It’s worth every penny in my view.
It didn't make more hair grow on my head, but it made hair grow in an unwanted place, so technically it works, just not in the way it's supposed to. After four months use, maybe I was optimistic, but I'm very sad my hair's no thicker. Before and after photos for these are very hard to show accurately, and can be misleading. Hair can look thicker purely on the way it's positioned, if it's longer, recently cleaned and dried, the light can change the look, etc. I'd advise people to be very careful before jumping into products into like these and doing their research before spending a lot of money. This is the only product on the market that works, and even then, results vary AND it's a gamble: It works on only 45% of people.
I have been a regular use of Minoxidil in the past, and although it worked well and gave me good regrowth, I had to stop using it after a while as my scalp itched more and more until it became unbearable. I gave up and lost a lot of hair. I did some internet research and found advice that the propylene glycol in the liquid version is what most people are allergic to, not the Minoxidil itself. I bought the foam version, which doesn't contain that, but was still very wary. I've been using it for several days now and magically, NO ITCHING at all. I'm very hopeful, for the first time in ages.
This DOES work, but the downside is it's rather expensive, and you have to commit to it indefinitely to maintain results. With continued use, you SHOULD see fine hair beginning to sprout in any thinning or receding areas, and this eventually matures into proper hair. But if you stop - either because of the expense, or just forgetting - all your perseverance will be undone. You will lose the new hair, and be right back where you started. If you resume treatment, it will take months to see any difference again.
This follicle stimulating scalp foam is amazing. My hair began to thin several years ago, well before I entered menopause. I had an hysterectomy 5 years ago and my ovaries were removed too so I went into surgical menopause. The loss of hormones in the body left my hair dry, broken and thinning. I started using Regaine about 10 months ago, thought I’d give it a try and had nothing to loose. It has made a dramatic difference to my hair, it is much thicker and doesn’t fall out. I used to run my fingers through my hair and my fingers would be covered in strands. Not any more. This product does what it says on the tin. Really happy with the results.
I had to stop using Regaine after about a week as the side-effects were really bad. I experienced the worst head-aches imaginable which didn't go away with ibuprofen or paracetamol and prevented me from sleeping. My scalp also felt like it was burning and sweated profusely. I also experienced nausea. After a week I decided that enough was enough. Within about 3 days of stopping using Regaine the side-effects went away...thankfully. My recommendation would be to only buy a small amount first (I bought enough for 4 months and regret the wasted money) to see how you react to it.
I have been losing hair for quite some time now. When I tie my hair back there was always a visible area of hair loss. I bought this because - well was running out of options. I started using this in December 2020 so waited a while to review. I am so happy about the results of this. Hair has grown and at first it was basically growing upwards so I had to use serum to smooth it out. Now that its abit longer its blended in. Very pleased with the product a small amount goes a long way. You just need to use it continuously to get the best results but it did work for me.
