I was very excited to test the Remington Copper Brilliance Blow Dry and Style Airbrush. I tested this after washing my hair and had it at about 80% dry. My hair is past my shoulders and naturally wavy. I used the 35mm brush first and got great volume at the roots. It glided relatively well down my hair. It dried my hair well and gave me lift at my roots. Next I tested the 25mm brush for more style at the ends. My long hair struggled in this size brush and didn't give me the curled under look I had hoped for. This size brush would be best for short to medium length hair for great results. The copper infused ceramic barrel left my hair with beautiful shine. The handle is fairly wide and those with small hands or arthritis may struggle a little to hold it. It wasn't as quiet as I expected but I really liked that there was a cool, low and heat setting and the setting temperature was consistent. All in all a great tool for short to medium length hair and volume at the roots.

This airstyler is better than most I've tried (Bondi Boost, VS Sassoon and Anko). Its no Dyson but it is ok given it's not expensive. I found that it was easy to use, glided through my thick and long hair and left it smooth without over-heating it. As a negative, the attachments did un-clip quite easily when moving it through thicker portions of hair - this was frustrating and the bottom end of the attachments get quite hot so be a bit careful. It's also quite loud - think hair-dryer loud. Overall, though I would recommend it especially if you have fine, short or mid-length hair.

I was super excited to receive this product to trial. For those on a budget, it's a much more affordable option than the Dyson air styler! After washing my hair at night, I allowed it to air dry for few minutes before use. Not sure if I have a faulty but the brush attachment didn't lock to the handle despite twisting it in place and fell off couple of times when i tried rotating the brush to try get some curls going. My damp hair did dry but just had the frizzy after hair dryer look rather than a blow dry from the salon look. Will be sticking to my proper styling products to straighten or curl my hair but will definitely continue using this Remington as a replacement from my regular hair dryer after washing my hair at night.

Maybe it’s me???
26 February 2023

I embarked on this journey of airstyling my hair. I have attempted this many other times with other products and the process has always stumped me. However this time- it worked heaps better than others. The Remington Airstyler dried my hair fairly quickly. I was ambitious though and had a go at styling. It wasn’t too bad, however I felt like my hair was frizzy with extra flyaways. I probably wouldn’t purchase this product, but I can see it would be super handy to have when you want to quickly touch up your hair after being in the pool or at the gym.

No go
22 February 2023

I must admit that I was not a fan of the heated brush for my hair. After using the smaller head, I took a photo but have not posted it due to me not liking the results. I found that even though I used product in my hair, the style became frizzy again within a few hours. However, this could also be due to the fact that I live in a high humidity area and my hair is fine and slightly curly. I have also given the larger brush a go, and even though the volume looked much better, it still did not look the best. I do understand that this could possibly be my own lack in using this product. I tested it on my friend as well and her hair looked much better and lasted longer. Her hair is short and wavy. I have enclosed my friend’s photo with her permission. Not great with thick hair
26 February 2023

I have quite thick hair which isn’t straight but also not curly. I found that when using this dry and style, the locking mechanism kept unlocking, resulting in the brush constantly falling off. To use this I had to have the smallest amount of hair to dry, taking it so long to dry and style my hair. The locking mechanism needs some sort of lock on it (it just clips in and out as you twist it) to prevent the brush from constantly unlocking. Also left my hair surprisingly frizzy, which does’t happen when I blow fry using a seperate brush and hairdryer. I think I just have too much hair for this product to work well!

Not right for my hair type.
24 February 2023

The Remington air styler is light weight and quieter than a traditional blow dryer. It adds volume and shine with quiet a bit of effort. I found the 25mm brush too small for my thick, long, curly hair so lucky they have a larger 35mm brush attachment. I found that my hair had to me 90 percent dry to get a ok effect but still think this product isn’t right for my hair type. I also found the attachments to unclip when using it on the back of my hair. I don’t foresee the air styler replacing my hair dryer.

Not suitable for long hair
24 February 2023

The Remington Copper Brilliance Air Styler has a stylish design and very appealing to the eye. The size makes it perfect for travel and storing at home especially with the hook at the bottom. Now to the nitty and gritty... I have long fine hair and this product was not for me. As my hair is so long it doesn't wrap around the large 38mm brush head, it just gets stuck and tugs on wet hair. I actually broke the little bit of plastic inside the brush where it locks into place. Not very well designed there, especially when drying wet hair! It took longer to dry/style my hair with the styler then a hairdryer and brush. I didn't even attempt to use the small 25mm on my hair but it worked perfectly on my 3yo daughters hair. Quick and easy styler
22 February 2023

I received the Remington Copper Brilliance Blow Dry & Style Airstyler. I was impressed by how lightweight it was. I initially thought it would be heavy and difficult to use as I have used a similar item before. My hair dried a lot quicker and it did straightener my hair as well as added some volume. It sounds like a hair dryer too. I would have given 5 stars if I didn’t have to use my hair straightener as well. I was hoping it would ease the frizz but I still needed to reach for my straightener but it was a much faster process to smooth the hair compared to trying to smooth hair after using a hair dryer. I liked this tool. I would recommend it.

So easy to use
14 February 2023

I really enjoyed using this product. I loved that I could use it without a brush attachment if I wanted to. With 2 different choices of brush attachements to choose from. The copper parts of the brush helped to dry the hair quicker and hold the style better. I absolutely love that it had a plastic tip so I could hold the brush in whatever way felt most comfortable, without burning my fingers! I was impressed that the brush attachments have 2 different types of bristles. The longer plastic ones to hold thick amounts of hair on the brush for styling. But also the shorter bristles to hold the whispier hairs in place too. My kids loved that it didn't burn their heads as well. If you are buying this wanting tight curls, it isn't designed for that. And the ends can easily be curled in or out, depending on what style you are going for.
