I have never really had good experiences with curling wands, I've always used a straightener to curl my hair but found the Remington surprisingly easy. The overall curl held a nice shape and even the next morning some of the curls were still in place which I was very happy to see. The adjustable heat setting is also a great feature which I haven't found on other curling wands I've used in the past and didn't take long for it to heat up to the max setting. I did find after about 20 minutes the tip of the wand was a bit too hot to touch so made it trickier to try and curl the ends of my hair, but also mindful that it might just come down to my technique in how I use a curling wand. Another bonus is the extra long cord. I struggle with having to find extension cords to use my other hair tools but not this one.I've replaced my previous curler with this one because it's far superior in so many ways. When you have a lot of hair like me, the thought of curling it can be daunting but this wand makes it so easy because it's lightweight enough that your arm won't get tired by the time you finish curling! Not that lightweight equals cheap. This is salon grade quality for a fraction of the price.I really adore this tool and would highly recommend picking it up if you're in the market for a new curler or want to purchase it as a (much appreciated) gift.
