It works. It was only $50. I was astounded reading reviews for this product where people were complaining about the power cord. The product description clearly states this is not a battery operated device. Also, this is a product that rips hair out of your body so if anyone is wondering if it hurts… the answer is pretty obvious.

It works pulling your hair out but it’s more painful than the more expensive ones. My arm skin got caught in the machine multiple times which left bruising the old saying is “you get what you pay for” it’s nearly unusable just pay the extra as I am happy with both the braun & Phillips brand epilators which do a great job just 3 times the price but worth it.

I bought this epilator to replace one of a different brand that is in the process of dying after 12 years or so I couldnt see the value in the more expensive model as my old one had been the base model and worked well so I purchased this model.First thing I noticed was this one is Loud especially in an enclosed space with hard walls aka a bathroom. It was better when I discovered the lower speed.Second My old epilator could catch a chunk of skin if you hit it too close to a knee fold but this one doesnt seem to do that. The tweeErs are much smaller. This item is great value and quality compared to other similar items on the market that would cost at least twice as much. I used to buy more expensive brands and they would last half as long. I have this same product (the one before was a purple colour) a few times over the last ten years and they last quite a long time (two-three years).
I bought this a few months ago at Big W & have to say I'm very disappointed with this model. I've bought epilators in this price range before in different brands & have found them very good value for money, but this one has a serious problem. It is the most dangerous model I've ever used because it catches skin on the rear of my upper leg so often & it is very difficult to pull away. Skin gets trapped in the head of the device & to prise your skin out is not only painful, but leaves serious welts. My opinion is that this model needs correcting by adding a detachable safety shield over the top of the epilator head. A previous epilator I had in another brand had this & I believe it would be the answer to correcting this significant design defect.
I have used epilators since they were invented and never had them catch on my skin. Very painful to pull off and left red welts on my skin. I am afraid to use it now . EP7010 shouldn’t be on the market.
I purchased this after my previous epilator got quite old, thinking a new updated model would be better. This is my third epilator I’ve owned, but the worst. I thought when it grabbed my skin and pulled it in between the tweezers and the side of the epilator that I must have used it at an odd angle. I have since used this a couple more times and each time it has grabbed my skin and I’ve had to switch it off and carefully pry my skin out from between the roller and the plastic trim of the epilator.
I’m not a first time epilator user. I find this model to be quite effective in removing hair but will pinch skin in it or leave a razor rash type burn on skin - not what you want if you are doing sensitive areas!
I purchased mine on Boxing Day last year and only had it for less than a month before it completely stopped working - not turning on when plugged in, nothing. Very disappointed. Don’t plan on purchasing another.
